World Peace Sustainability Indicators
Since 2001, this unofficial and independent page has advocated the open and transparent development of World Peace Sustainability Indicators and provided some ideas in an attempt to trigger the development of a World Peace Sustainability Spatial Index.

Please note:
This page was developed after a failure to find any other web page displaying ideas for World Peace Sustainability Indicators. Please, if you know of, or develop a web page displaying ideas to track Global Progress using World Peace Sustainability Indicators then let us know so that we can link to the page. Thank you.

Suggested Indicators to Try:

1 The first suggested method to try to calculate the World Peace Sustainability Indicator Spatial Index was to use the publicly reported per country kilotonne of explosive stockpile. (That is you will have a peaceful time if you carry a big stick.)

2 The second method is to try to calculate the World Peace Sustainability Indicator Spatial Index using the Population Percentage Playing International Sport. Or, better still, build an index of country population percentages playing intercontinental sport and compare this index to any other spatial index of world peace.

The following diagram shows peaceful nations in June 2002.

3 The third suggested method to try is to calculate the World Peace Sustainability Indicator Spatial Index as an Inverse Social Capital Index. A more complicated technique would be to use the inverse of a Neighbourhood Social Capital Index to build a worldwide spatial index of world peace. But first, you would need to agree on a suitable worldwide technique on how to build each Neighbourhood Social Capital Index.

Global Progress needs Sustainable Peace

Anyone trying to calculate Global Progress, should include a World Peace Sustainability Indicator Spatial Index and not just Global Quality of Life, Global Happiness or Global Life Satisfaction to ensure they are working with a useful Global Index for Sustainable Global Quality of Life, Sustainable Global Happiness or Sustainable Global Life Satisfaction which includes both synergistic and antagonistic parts in building the Global Spatial Index.
