Hi Lorraine  - or do you want to be called Lormac?

This is such a wonder-full thing I want to share with you and see what you think!

I always wondered about the Jesus - Father thing, Holy Spirit too, and begged' for revelation.  Read what this one says, that one says, bible says, etc....still no answer.  Then I heard a message on the radio, sent for the tape, and this is where I am, right now, today, with this issue.  As the Spirit gives revelation I am open. (NOT the same as "New Light")

We live in a UNI-verse  -  NOT a Multi-verse made up of three parts, space, time, and matter.
Remove just one of these parts AND THE OTHER PARTS CEASE TO EXIST!!

Each of these three components also are made up of three parts,

Space = longitude, latitude, and altitude
Matter =heighth, length, and width,
Time =past, present, and future

Remove just one of these parts of any component AND THE OTHER PARTS

CEASE TO EXIST!!

If you view God as 1+1+1 = 3,  that doesn't make sense
But if your view is  1x1x1 = 3,   then your reaction may be different.

He is not like a pie cut in three pieces with each equal piece being one  person, cuz the The Father is the WHOLE pie, and The Son is the WHOLE pie, and the Holy Spirit is the SAME Whole pie.  How can this be?

In a book that is out of print, entitled "Secrets of the Universe" by Dr. Nathan Wood, he puts forth the following:

Just as time is made up of three elements, past present and future, we can only KNOW time in the present.  Some people think time comes
out of the past because we come out of the past.

But time comes out of the future and we meet it head on.  Today, yesterday was tomorrow.  Time comes out of the future, meets us in the present, and recedes into the past.

The future is the source.  The future is the unseen, unknown, except as it continually embodies itself and makes itself visible in the present.

The present is what we see and hear and know. It is ceaselessly embodying the future, day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment.  It is
perpetually revealing the future hitherto invisible.

The future is logically first, but not chronologically first, for the present exists as long as time exists, and was in the absolute beginning of time.

The present has existed as long as time has existed.  Time acts in and through the present. It makes itself visible only in the present

The future acts and reveals itself through the present.  It is through the present, that time, that is the future, enters into union with human
life and so is born and lives and dies in human life.

The past, in turn, comes from the present.  We cannot say that it embodies the present, on the contrary, time. in issuing from the present into the past becomes invisible again.  The past does not embody the present, rather it proceeds, silently, endlessly, and invisibly from it.

The present, therefore, comes out of the invisible future.  The present perpetually embodies the future in visible, audible, livable form, and returns again into the invisible time of the past.

The past acts invisible as it continually influences us with regard to the present.  It casts light upon the present.  That is its great function.  It helps us to live in the present, which we know, and with respect to the future which we expect to see.

Now all of us would agree that is exactly how time operates.  And now, Dr. Wood and repeats the same paragraph and replaces four words.

GOD = TIME
FATHER = FUTURE
SON = PRESENT
HOLY SPIRIT = PAST

This is not a simile, nor a metaphore, but an exact geometric analogy.

We can know God in no other way but the Son.

The Father is the source.  The Father is unseen, unknown, except as He continually embodies Himself and makes Himself visible in the Son.

The Son is what we see and hear and know.  He is ceaselessly embodying the Father, day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment.  He is perpetually revealing the Father, hitherto invisible.

The Father is logically first, but not chronologically first.  For the Son exists as long as God exists and was in the absolute "beginning" of God.  God acts through and in the Son.  He makes Himself visible only in the Son.  The Father acts and reveals Himself through the Son.

It is through the Son, that God, who is the Father, enters into union with human life. God and humanity meet and unite in the Son  It is in the Son, that God, that the Father becomes part of human life and so is born and lives and dies in human life.

The Holy Spirit, in turn, comes from the Son.  We cannot say that He embodies the Son. On the contrary, God, in issuing from the Son into the Holy Spirit becomes invisible again.  The Holy Spirit does not embody the Son.  Rather He proceeds silently, endlessly and invisibly from Him.

The Son therefore, comes out of the invisible Father.  The Son perpetually embodies the Father in visible, audible livable form and returns again into the invisible God, the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit acts invisibly and continuously influences us with regard to the Son.  That is His great function.  He helps us to live in the Son, whom we know, and with reference to the Father, whom we expect to see.

 DO YOU KNOW HIM??

This God emerged from Israel, the most fiercely monotheistic people on earth.

Hear O Isreal, the Lord thy God is ONE, not theoretically, nor abstractly,  but experiencially because they met Jesus Christ and discovered,
by asking,   "What manner of man is this?  Even the wind and waves obey His voice!"

This spoke to my spirit and my heart.  My human understanding can "grasp" the jist of this teaching.  If my puny understanding can see how 3 = 1 through this teaching, I am positive God is able to be all three, totally, completely.
