Some notes and comments on various Biblical texts some have used to promote the doctrine of the Trinity. The main approach that will be used to arrive at a proper balanced view of these texts is based on the FACT that the Bible interprets itself.

THE VERSE READS AS THIS IN NIV:

“THEIRS ARE THE PATRIARCHS AND FROM THEM IS TRACED THE HUMAN ANCESTRY OF CHRIST WHO IS GOD OVER ALL FOREVER PRAISED AMEN”

LIFE APPLICATION BIBLE HAS IT RENDERED LIKE THIS:

"THEIR  ANCESTORS WERE GREAT PEOPLE OF GOD, AND CHRIST HIMSELF WAS A JEW AS FAR AS HIS HUMAN NATURE IS CONCERNED. HE IS GOD, WHO RULES OVER EVERYTHING AND IS WORTHY OF ETERNAL PRAISE! AMEN."

KJV HAS IT RENDERED LIKE THIS:

"WHOSE ARE THE FATHERS, AND OF WHOM AS CONCERNING THE FLESH CHRIST CAME, WHO IS OVER ALL, GOD BLESSED FOREVER. AMEN!"

NRSV HAS IT RENDERED LIKE THIS:

"TO THEM BELONG THE PATRIARCHS, AND FROM THEM, ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, CAME THE MESSIAH, WHO IS OVER ALL, GOD BLESSED FOR EVER. AMEN."

I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE YOU HANGING ON THIS PASSAGE - THAT IS WHY I CITED THESE BIBLES - AS YOU CAN SEE ALL 4 BIBLES TELL US THAT JESUS IS "GOD BLESSED FOREVER."

Some say that this verse tells us that Jesus was indeed the "Christ, who is God, who is over all." Is this the case?

AGAIN FOLKS – WORD OF GOD TELLS US THIS. THIS IS THE REASON I CITED THE 4 BIBLES - THIS AUTHOR CONTINUALLY TELLS US THAT "SOME SAY" THIS & THAT.

LOOK AT THE 4 QUOTATIONS  = EVERY BIBLE TELLS US THAT JESUS IS GOD!  EVERY BIBLE IS THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD - WHICH WAS AUTHORED BY HIM.  HE SURE DOES KNOW WHO HE IS - SO WHY DO SOME MEN DENY HIM & HIS WORD??

BECAUSE IT DOES NOT AGREE  WITH THEIR OWN TEACHING & THEY WANT US TO FOLLOW THEM & NOT JESUS. THAT'S WHY!!

PAUL WHO HAD GOD LIVING WITHIN HIM INSTRUCTED HIM TO SAY IT, BUT NO – GOD DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS SAYING. WE HAVE TO TELL HIM THAT HE IS WRONG AGAIN & AGAIN.

Before we look at this verse in detail, let us realize, that the main problem with this verse is the use of the punctuation. [HERE WE GO - PROBLEMS WITH GODS WORD AGAIN] When the Greek text was written, it originally contained no punctuation. Thus when we translate into a language that does, we need to be as faithful to the full flavour and context of the original language. So then we must determine, if it is indeed Christ, who is the one who "is over all," or, if there is indeed, a beginning of "an independent sentence, thought, or clause," that refers to God alone, "who is over all."

YUP SO TRUE – THAT’S WHY I HAVE DONE JUST THAT IN "NIV"  VERSE ABOVE. PLEASE HAVE ANOTHER READ OF IT. THERE ARE  NO PUNCTUATION MARKS IN IT.

So then we ask, "Is it Christ, who is the one who Paul called "God, who is over all?" Or, was Paul merely stating a separate thought, or expression, with reference to Jehovah for his provision of his Son? Again, is Jesus in Romans 9:5 being called "God" (theos), the One "who is over all?" This is the crux of the matter regarding this verse.

UN PUNCTUATED VERSE TELLS US THAT IT IS. SO DOES THE ENTIRE BIBLE.

THE QUESTION ARISES - WHO IS THE SUBJECT OF THIS VERSE & WHAT DOES THE PASSAGE SAY ABOUT THIS SUBJECT??

SUBJECT IS - "JESUS" - VERSE TELLS US THAT HE CAME FROM PATRIARCHS IN HUMAN FLESH & THAT HE IS "GOD BLESSED FOR EVER."

It is with the above in mind that we first draw our attention to Paul's words at Romans 15:5,6 which read:

DEAR READERS HERE WE GO AGAIN – WE ARE DISCUSSING ROMANS 9:5 – BUT WE HAVE TO GO ELSEWHERE.

WHEN IN THE WORLD DO WE READ BOOKS IN SUCH MANNER? NEVER! WE READ BOOKS ONE PASSAGE AT A TIME & THEN WE OBTAIN  THE WHOLE STORY & NOT HERE THERE & EVERYWHERE TO MAKE THINGS FIT. LET’S GET REAL HERE!

"Now may the God who supplies endurance and comfort grant YOU to have among yourselves the same mental attitude that Christ Jesus had, that with one accord YOU may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Notice here that Paul makes it abundantly clear, that Jesus has one who is "God and Father to him!"

SO WHAT ELSE IS NEW? WE KEEP SAYING THIS – THAT THE FATHER & SON HAVE THE SAME SPIRITUAL NATURE “GOD. ”WHICH IS THE ALL POWERFUL POWER THAT WE HUMANS KNOW.

PAUL ALSO TELLS US IN THE SAME CHAPTER VERSE 13 THIS:

MAY THE GOD OF HOPE "FILL YOU" WITH ALL THE JOY & PEACE AS YOU TRUST IN HIM. SO THAT YOU MAY OVERFLOW WITH HOPE BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT."

I ASK YOU ARE YOU FILLED WITH THIS HOPE & POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT? IF NOT WHY NOT? AS THE ONE & SAME GOD OF VERSES 5 & 6 IS PAUL TALKING ABOUT!!

Paul obviously had this same thought well in mind when he wrote these words as he did, at Romans 9:5.

ALSO!  HE WROTE CHAPTER 9: 5 BEFORE HE DID CHAPTER 15. IN CHAPTER 9 HE HAD ONE MESSAGE & IN CHAPTER 15 THERE WAS A NEED TO TELL US SOMETHING DIFFERENTLY FROM A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW.

Thus it is extremely difficult to conceive that Paul would contradict himself in the very same letter he penned to the Roman congregation. HE DID NOT CONTRADICT HIMSELF!

WHAT PAUL IS TELLING US IS THIS:  HE WANTS "YOU" TO BE LIKE CHRIST – JESUS DID NOT COME TO PLEASE HIMSELF, BUT TO SERVE OTHERS.

WE CHRISTIANS SHOULD FOLLOW HIS EXAMPLE & SERVE OTHERS BY TAKING UP THE SAME CROSS THAT JESUS DID & NOT BE ASHAMED OF BEING JESUS’ FOLLOWERS NO MATTER WHO THROWS  AT US BECAUSE OF OUR FAITH. BLESSED BE HIS NAME.

For as we have established throughout this page, "one who is the Most High God, cannot have one who is God to him! Compare Psalms 83:18 to Micah 5:4; John 20:17; Romans 15:6; Revelation 3:12

THIS IS UTTER NONSENSE - THAT IS LIKE SAYING - ONE - WHO IS A "HUMAN" SON CAN NOT HAVE A SON OR A FATHER!!

Let us now look at this verse from a few other perspectives:

WHY?? THIS VERSE IS SELF EXPLANATORY - JESUS IS GOD!! SEE MALACHI 3:1 - PHILIPPIANS 2: 6 - TITUS 2: 13 ETC.

If we look at the Greek of this verse we find the following:

"hon ho pateres kai ex hon ho khristos to kata sarka ho on epi panton, Theos eulogetos eis tous aionas; amen"

The actual translation of the above as it is written is:

"hon (of whom) ho (the) pateres (fathers) kai (and) ex (out of) hon (whom) ho (the) khristos (Christ) to (the thing) kata (according to) sarka (flesh) ho (the [one]) on (being) epi (upon) panton, (all [things]) Theos (God) eulogetos (blessed [one]) eis (into) tous (the) aionas (ages) amen (amen)

IN OTHER WORDS:  THIS WILL MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU TO FOLLOW!

 OF WHOM – THE – FATHERS – AND – OUT OF- WHOM – THE – CHRIST -  THE –  ACCORDING TO – FLESH – THE – BEING - UPON – ALL – GOD – BLESSED – INTO – THE  - AGES – AMEN

NOTE THAT IT STATES THAT JESUS "BEING UPON ALL GOD"

What have Bible commentaries and scholars said about the above Greek sentence structure? Please note the following:

"A Catholic Dictionary" states: "There is no reason in grammar or in the context which forbids us to translate 'God, who is over all, be blessed for ever, Amen.'"

AGAIN – WHAT ELSE IS NEW?  THERE IS NO REASON THAT FORBIDS US TO RENDER IT AS IT IS DONE.!

Thus, we can see there is no problem with translating Romans 9:5 as does the New Word Translation, from a "Greek grammar standpoint as seen from the above.

THE PROBLEM IS WITH “MAKING THINGS UP,” THAT AREN’T THERE. THE PASSAGE IS WRITTEN AS SUCH:

"THEIRS ARE THE PATRIARCHS, AND FROM THEM IS TRACED THE HUMAN ANCESTRY OF CHRIST, WHO IS GOD OVER ALL FOREVER PRAISED! AMEN”

WHAT THIS PASSAGE IS TELLING US IS THIS – THE ORIGINAL LEADERS OF ISRAEL: (PATRIARCHS) - ABRAHAM, ISAAC, JACOB & JACOB'S 12 SONS. AND ALL THIS LED TO “CHRIST” THE COMING “MESSIAH” – GOD’S OWN SON WHO WAS BORN INTO THIS WORLD AS A JEW, WHO IS GOD – DIVINE OVER ALL CREATION.

Now, even if trinitarians were correct in their understanding of this passage, "The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology" has this to say: "Christ would not be equated absolutely with God, but only described as a being of divine nature, for the word theos [God] has no article. But this ascription of majesty does not occur anywhere else in Paul. The much more probable explanation is that the statement is a doxology [praise] directed to God."

THE FACT THAT THE ARTICLE HAS NO BEARING ON THE MATTER.  WHAT IS IN QUESTION IS THIS.

Note: "....the statement is a "doxology [praise] directed to God." Why this impression of the verse" It is because this verse ends with the term "Amen." How does the apostle Paul use this term else where in his same letter to the Roman Congregation, and what is the import of such a phrase?

THE SUBJECT IS ON JESUS BEING “GOD” & NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WORD “AMEN.”

THE WORD AMEN IS SIGNIFYING THAT SOMETHING IS CERTAIN - SURE - & VALID - TRUTH FULL & FAITHFUL.

IN NT - JESUS USED THE WORD AMEN TO AFFIRM THE TRUTH OF HIS OWN STATEMENTS.  IN ENGLISH TRANSCRIPTS WORDS "VERILY, VERILY" OR "TRULY, TRULY" - "I TELL YOU THE TRUTH"

JESUS ALWAYS USED THE WORD IN THE BEGINNING OF HIS STATEMENT & APOSTLES & DISCIPLES & WE TODAY USE IT AT THE END - SO TO AFFIRM AS TRUTH WHAT WE HAVE JUST SAID IN OUR PRAYER.

Let us investigate.
At Romans 1:25 we read: "even those who exchanged the truth of God for the lie and venerated and rendered sacred service to the creation rather than the One who created, who is blessed forever. Amen.

"NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SUBJECT AT HAND – THE ENTIRE PASSAGE FROM VERSE 18-31 TALKS ABOUT “GOD’S WRATH AGAINST MANKIND.” THE VERSE 25 GOES LIKE THIS:

“THEY EXCHANGED THE “TRUTH” OF GOD FOR A LIE, AND WORSHIPPED AND SERVED CREATED THINGS RATHER THEN THE CREATOR – WHO IS FOREVER PRAISED.”

DOES THAT SOUND FAMILIAR? HMMMM

DEAR READERS – IT IS NOT THAT GOD IS PUNISHING MAN - MAN IS BRINGING PUNISHMENT UPON HIMSELF AND STEADILY MAKING HIMSELF THE “SLAVE” OF SIN.

HE WHO ERECTS THE FENCE AROUND HIMSELF IS FENCED, AND HE WHO GIVES HIMSELF OVER IS GIVEN OVER.

SIN IS ALWAYS A LIE, BECAUSE THE SINNER THINKS THAT IT WILL MAKE HIM HAPPY, WHEREAS IN THE END IT “RUINS” HIS / HERS LIFE, BOTH FOR HIMSELF AND FOR OTHERS, IN THIS WORLD AND IN THE WORLD TO COME.

 At Romans 11:36 we read: "Because from him and by him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen."

AGAIN DEAR READERS PLEASE READ THE “WHOLE” PASSAGE FROM VERSE 33-36 – WHICH TALKS ABOUT “DOXOLOGY.”

I’LL ONLY CITE VERSES 35 & 36:

"WHO HAS EVER GIVEN GOD, THAT GOD SHOULD REPAY HIM?  36 – FOR FROM HIM AND TROUGH HIM AND TO HIM ARE ALL THINGS. TO HIM BE THE GLORY FOREVER! AMEN.”

 THIS IS TALKING ABOUT JESUS.

HE IS THE CREATOR OF EVERYTHING & ALL THE PRAISE SHOULD BE GIVEN TO HIM! AMEN!!! PRAISE THE LORD GOD OUR CREATOR JESUS CHRIST.

IN THIS PASSAGE PAUL CONVEYS A SENSE OF CONFIDENCE THAT GOD IS IN CONTROL, THAT GOD WILL KEEP HIS PROMISES, AND THAT GOD WILL HAVE MERCY TOWARD HIS PEOPLE. PRAISE THE LORD.

PAUL IS TELLING US THAT WE SHOULD SEEK THE HEART CONDITION & NOT THE MIND DESIRES.

OUR HEART SHOULD “ALWAYS” FOCUS ON “LOVE” FOR OTHERS & THE THINGS THAT WE CAN NOT UNDERSTAND THEN WE ARE TO LEAVE IT TO GOD & NOTTRY TO MAKE THINGS UP AS WE GO ALONG.

WE SHOULD SAY “ I CAN NOT GRASP THY MIND, BUT WITH MY WHOLE HEART “I TRUST” THY LOVE. THEY WILL BE DONE & NOT MINE!”

At Romans 15:32,33 we read: "so that when I get to YOU with joy by God's will I shall be refreshed together with YOU. 33 May the God who gives peace be with all of YOU. Amen."

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE PASSAGE FROM VERSE 23 – 33 WHERE PAUL IS ASKING FOR PEOPLE TO PRAY FOR HIM SO THAT HE ESCAPES HIS IMPRISONMENT IN JUDEA SO THAT HE GO & VISIT ROME.

At Romans 16:26,27 we read: "but has now been made manifest and has been made known through the prophetic scriptures among all the nations in accord with the command of the everlasting God to promote obedience by faith; to God, wise alone, be the glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen." SEE LAST COMMENT!

Notice at all the above usage's of a sentence ending with an "Amen," Paul is making an exclamation or petition of thanksgiving with regard to God for his provision, or his act in behalf of mankind. This is exactly the very same usage we see at Romans 9:5. Paul is merely exclaiming to Jehovah his "so be it" regarding God's provision of his Son, the one who sprang from the Flesh. NOT SO – HERE IS THE VERSE AGAIN –

“THEIRS ARE THE PATRIARCHS, AND FROM THEM IS TRACED THE HUMAN ANCESTRY OF CHRIST, WHO IS GOD OVER ALL FOREVER PRAISED! AMEN.”

THIS VERSE CLEARLY SHOWS THAT IT IS JESUS WHO IS CALLED GOD BY PAUL.

THE SAD PART HERE IS THIS – THE JEWS WERE GIVE NUMBER OF COVENANTS (AGREEMENTS) FROM GOD. I WILL ONLY MENTION 4.

ONE WAS WITH NOAH AFTER THE FLOOD & THE SIGN WAS THE RAINBOW – WHICH STANDS FOR A PROMISE THAT GOD WILL NOT DESTROY THE WORLD IN SUCH A MANNER, AGAIN.

SECOND WAS THE AGREEMENT WITH ABRAHAM – THIS ONE WAS A SIGN OF CIRCUMCISION.

THIRD WAS THE COVENANT WITH THE NATION ENTERED INTO ON MOUNT SINAI AND ITS BASIS WAS LAW.

THE FOURTH IS THE “NEW COVENANT” IN JESUS CHRIST.

THE TRAGEDY IS – THAT JEWS SHOULD HAVE KNOW OF THIS “NEW COVENANT,” BUT AS USUAL THEY DIDN’T RECOGNIZE THE COMING OF CHRIST AS THE PROMISED MESSIAH & THEY REJECTED HIM – THE SON OF GOD.

JESUS DID NOT BREAK ANY LAWS PREVIOUSLY SET – BUT IT WAS THE “GOD’S LOVE” THAT HAS BEEN SPURNED.

SAME IN THE PAUL'S WORDS – IT IS PAUL'S “HEART” THAT IS BROKEN BY THE REJECTION OF JESUS BY JEWS.

JESUS IS STANDING & KNOCKING AT YOUR  DOOR: AND IT IS  YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO LET HIM IN.

YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN “REFUSE” HIM & AS HE DOES NOT REFUSE YOU!

 WHAT WILL YOU DO LET HIM IN OR KEEP HIM ON THE OUTER??

Notice Paul's words at 2 Corinthians 1:20: "For no matter how many the promises of God are, they have become Yes by means of him. Therefore also through him is the "Amen" [said] to God for glory through us."

NOTE THE DIFFERENCES IN TEXT –

“FOR NO MATTER HOW MANY PROMISES GOD HAS MADE, THEY ARE ‘YES’ IN CHRIST. AND SO THROUGH HIM THE “AMEN” IS SPOKEN BY US TO THE GLORY OF GOD.”

NOTE, IN WHOSE NAME  IS THE “AMEN”  SPOKEN?  JESUS NAME! SEE ALSO 1 CORINTHIANS 14:16.

Yes, Paul makes it clear that by the [saying] of this term "Amen," God is the one who is being indicated as receiving the Glory, in this case, (of 2 Corinthians 1:20, as well as Romans 9:5) for sending his Son!

YES FOLKS THE “AMEN” IS SPOKEN FOR GOD. WHO IS THIS GOD? JESUS OF COURSE!

What possible reason would there be for Paul to change the meaning of his usage of saying an "Amen," at the ending of his giving of thanksgiving for what God has done, (regarding the many provisions he has given man) from the way he has stylized throughout his writings? There would be no reason at all. Please look at all the other instances of applying an Amen to the end of the sentence in the rest of Paul's writings at the following scriptures for addition support: THIS IS NOT SO = REASON FOR THIS IS THIS!

THE ‘FOCUS’ OF OUR DISCUSSION IS ON “JESUS” & NOT THE WORD ‘AMEN,’ BUT  EVEN STILL – THE WORD “AMEN” IS IN THE NAME OF “JESUS.” WHO IS OUR GOD  WHO CAME DOWN FROM HIS HEAVENLY REALM TO BE WITH US & PROVIDE US WITH AN  EASIER WAY INTO HIS KINGDOM. THAT IS THROUGH HIS SHED BLOOD ON THE  CROSS-. BLESSED BE HIS NAME FOREVER, AMEN! PLEASE SEE THE MEANING OF "AMEN" ABOVE?

BUT WE ARE DISCUSSING ROMANS 9 & NOT GALATIANS!! BUT WE HAVE TO GO ELSE WHERE AGAIN.

Galatians 1:4,5: "He gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from the present wicked system of things according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen."

SO TRUE – ALWAYS TO BE GIVEN IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

TAKE A LOOK AT THE HIGHLIGHTED WORDS -"JESUS WILL DELIVER US"  - THAT MEANS THAT JESUS IS OUR "SAVIOR"

WHO DOES BIBLE SAY THAT OUR SAVIOR IS??    GOD RIGHT!!

Galatians 6:18: "The undeserved kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with the spirit YOU [show], brothers. Amen."

THIS VERSE AS IT APPEARS IN NIV. “ THE “GRACE” OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST BE WITH “YOUR SPIRIT”, BROTHERS. AMEN.”

NOTE THE DIFFERENCE IN NWT TO THE NIV – (BY THE WAY THE KJV HAS IT RENDERED LIKE THIS “BRETHREN, “THE GRACE” OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST BE WITH “YOUR SPIRIT”. AMEN.”

AS YOU CAN SEE THEY ARE TELLING US THE SAME MESSAGE & YET NWT – TELLS US A DIFFERENT STORY.

I WONDER WHY? IT IS GODS “GRACE” THAT IS “FREE GIFT” & NOT “UNDESERVED KINDNESS” –

ALSO IT IS “YOUR SPIRIT” & NOT “SPIRIT YOU SHOW.” TOTALLY DIFFERENT MEANING IN NWT. SO TO TAKE THE “TRUTH” AWAY FROM GOD’S WORD.

Ephesians 3:21: "to him be the glory by means of the congregation and by means of Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."

VERSE 20 & 21 – “NOW TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO IMMEASURABLY MORE THAN ALL WE ASK OR IMAGINE, ACCORDING TO HIS POWER THAT IS AT WORK WITH US, 21 TO HIM BE GLORY IN THE CHURCH AND IN CHRIST JESUS THROUGH OUT ALL GENERATIONS, FOR EVER AND EVER! AMEN.”

Philippians 4:20: "Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen."

WHO IS OUR FATHER FOLKS – SEE ISAIAH 9:6. JESUS!

1 Timothy 1:17: "Now to the King of eternity, incorruptible, invisible, [the] only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen." WHO IS OUR KING? JESUS – See John 1:48-49.

1 Timothy 6:16: "the one alone having immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom not one of men has seen or can see. To him be honor and might everlasting. Amen."

This is talking about Jesus – please read verse before this one. They are telling us about Eternal King of Kings. THAT IS JESUS

 2 Timothy 4:18: "The Lord will deliver me from every wicked work and will save [me] for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen." Who is our saviour?

JESUS OF COURSE.  ALSO NOTE WHERE WE WILL BE !! IN HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM & NOT ON EARTH!!

Hebrews 13:21: "equip YOU with every good thing to do his will, performing in us through Jesus Christ that which is well pleasing in his sight; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen."

THIS PASSAGE AGAIN IS TELLING US THAT THE “GLORY” BE TO JESUS.

Yes in all the above instances, we see that Paul is ascribing his Amen, for the many provisions of Jehovah, who sent his Son, Jesus Christ, the one who watches over and is the head of the Christian Congregation.

WE HAVE SHOWN THIS TO BE FALSE. EVERY OCCASION IS TALKING ABOUT JESUS.

Yes it is God "who is over all," that sent his Son, who sprang from the Flesh for mankind's redemption.

Now, keeping the above view points in mind, let us look at a few other translations of this verse to see just what other translators felt Paul had in mind when he said the above words at Romans 9:5.

FINALLY WE ARE BACK AT THE PASSAGE WE STARTED TO DISCUSS IN THE BEGINNING.

Revised Standard Version: "To them belong the patriarchs, and of their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ. God who is over all be blessed for ever. Amen." JESUS!

Today's English Version: "they are descended from the patriarchs, and Christ, as a human being, belongs to their race. May God, who rules over all, be praised forever! Amen."

JESUS IS THE RULER OVER ALL! JESUS IS THE ONE WHO JUDGES 'EVERY ONE  & EVERYTHING."

TO MANY BRACKETS TO SUIT HIS OWN MEANING.

New American Bible: "Theirs were the patriarchs, and from them came the Messiah (I speak of his human origins). Blessed forever be God who is over all. Amen."

GOD OVER ALL IS JESUS! NOTE THE HIGHLIGHTED PART - MESSIAH IN HIS HUMAN ORIGIN.

QUESTION ARISES - WHAT OTHER ORIGIN DID MESSIAH HAVE??  MALACHI 3: 1 & ZAC 12: 10.

Yes indeed, as we see from the above, many other translations recognize Paul's' Amen to Jehovah God for loving the world so much, that he sent his "Only Begotten Son," in order that, "all those that would exercise faith in him, would have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

WE HAVE SHOWN THAT EVERY PASSAGE BAR ONE (AS THERE ARE TOO MANY BRACKETS) THAT THEY ALL SAY IT IS

"For if you publicly declare that 'word in your own mouth,' that Jesus is Lord, and exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved."

“THAT IF YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH, JESUS IS LORD, AND BELIEVE “IN YOUR HEART” THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU WILL BE SAVED.”

The Greek word here translated as "Lord" is kyrios. It's fundamental meaning here is "owner, master." Some feel the nearest Hebrew word to "kyrios" in this verse, is "ha adhohn", meaning The Lord. Now when ever the Hebrew uses the term "ha adhohn" it refers exclusively to Jehovah. So then, some imagine, that we are to confess that Jesus is Jehovah to be saved. Is this the case?

NOT AT ALL – FOLKS – THIS IS DONE SO TO CONFUSE.

IN  NWT ON SOME 230 OCCASIONS THIS WORD “KURIOS” IS TRANSLATED AS “LORD” YET IT IS RENDERED AS Jehovah” when it is referring to Father. IN EVERY OTHER  CASE THAT THE SAME WORD “KURIOS” REFERS TO JESUS, THEY RENDER IT AS “LORD.”

THE WT CAN NOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS. IT IS EITHER ONE OR THE OTHER. ALSO, AS FAR AS THE GREEK & HEBREW ARE CONCERNED – THE “NT” IS WRITTEN IN GREEK & NOT HEBREW.

THEREFORE WE MUST WORK FROM THE GREEK & NOT HEBREW. ONCE AGAIN –  IF WE WERE TO TAKE ON THE REASONING OF THIS AUTHOR – THEN IN “EVERY CASE” IT “MUST” BE RENDERED ONE WAY & NOT AS THEY “PLEASE.”

WHY DIDN’T THEY RENDER THE WORD ‘KURIOS’ AS JEHOVAH IN JOHN 20:28?

BECAUSE IT WOULD READ LIKE THIS – ‘MY JEHOVAH AND MY GOD’. INTERESTING ISN’T IT.

Whenever it is that the term "ha adhohn" occurs in the original Hebrew text, THIS is when it is exclusively used of Jehovah God. However, Paul did not write his letter to the Romans in Hebrew, he wrote it in Greek. Therefore, when he chose the term 'kyrios,' he did NOT mean that "if he were to write it in Hebrew, he would use "ha adhohn," and thus Jesus was Jehovah."

NOT AT ALL. PAUL WAS INSPIRED BY GOD & GOD KNOWS WHAT HE WANTED TO TELL US IN HIS WRITTEN WORD.

PAUL WAS AN INSTRUMENT FOR GOD i.e.. HIS HANDS & HE WROTE AS GOD INSTRUCTED HIM TO. IF GOD WANTED HIM TO USE ANOTHER WORD – THE GOD WOULD HAVE DONE SO.

THE WORD “JEHOVAH” IS DERIVED FORM “YHWH” & EVEN THEN IT IS NOT WRITTEN AS “JEHOVAH” – BUT AS YAHWEH.

NWT AS USUAL MISREPRESENTED THE GREEK WORD “KURIOS” – “LORD” & RENDER IT AS THEY PLEASE. THIS IS UNBIBLICAL & IT IS DONE SO TO SUIT THEIR OWN TEACHING.

 The term "ha adhohn" means "The Lord," [MY POINT EXACTLY] and is used exclusively of Jehovah when it appears in the original Hebrew language.  Translating the Greek 'kyrios' into the Hebrew as "ha adhohn" is simply the opinion of certain translators. [HERE WE GO FOLKS IT IS AN OPINION & NOT TRUTH, YET 1 SENTENCE BACK THIS WORD MEANS "LORD"] But the fact is, that in the Greek text, the definite article "ho" does not occur with "kyrios" at Romans 10:9. So, it could not literally be translated as "The Lord" in the Hebrew and have it mean Jehovah.

WE DON’T SAY THAT IT DOES. REMEMBER – NO ONE HAS SEEN NOR HEARD THE FATHER (John 6: 46 & 1: 18).

Thus Jesus is Lord, the one of which Jehovah raised from the dead, [JESUS RAISED HIMSELF IN JOHN 2:19 & HOLY SPIRIT RAISED JESUS IN ROMANS 8:11] so that all those exercising faith in him might not be destroyed, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

WHO DO JW’s EXERCISE FAITH IN – THE WT & GB OR JESUS?

REMEMBER IT IS THE GB WHO IS PROVIDING THE INDIVIDUAL JW’s WITH THE SPIRITUAL FOOD & NOT THE WORD OF GOD. JW’s READ 5 TO 1 PASSAGES IN WT MAGAZINES TO BIBLE PASSAGES.

"For it is written: "'As I live,' says Jehovah, 'to me every knee will bend down, and every tongue will make open acknowledgement to God. '"WELL FOLKS – WHO IS OUR JUDGE? JOHN 5:22 –23 TELLS US IT IS JESUS.

THE FATHER JUDGES NO ONE SO THAT WE HONOUR THE SON AS WE HONOUR THE FATHER. WHAT DOES THIS MAKE JESUS – WHEN WE LOOK AT THIS PASSAGE?  JEHOVAH OF COURSE!

“MAY GOD OF HOPE FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY AND PEACE AS “YOU TRUST” IN HIM, SO THAT YOU MAY “OVERFLOW” WITH HOPE BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.”

Some here say that because the holy spirit has power, it is God. Is this logical Bible based thinking? What does the Bible say else where?

SO WHY IS THAT TIME & TIME AGAIN WE DO NOT BELIEVE HIM, BUT HAVE TO BELIEVE WHAT SOME MEN SAY?

2 Timothy 3:5 says: "Having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away."

LET’S SEE WHAT THE ENTIRE PASSAGE STATES – STARTING FROM VERSE 2.

“PEOPLE WILL BE LOVERS OF THEMSELVES, LOVERS OF MONEY, BOASTFUL, ABUSIVE, DISOBEDIENT TO THEIR PARENTS,
UNGRATEFUL, UNHOLY, WITHOUT LOVE, UNFORGIVING, SLANDEROUS…. etc.

5  HAVING A FORM OF godliness BUT DENYING ITS POWER, “HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM.

6 THEY ARE KIND WHO WORM THEIR WAY INTO HOMES AND GAIN CONTROL OVER WEAK- WILLED WOMEN, WHO ARE
LOADED DOWN WITH SINS AND ARE SWAYED BY ALL KINDS OF EVIL DESIRES.

7 always learning but never able to ACKNOWLEDGE THE TRUTH.”

Here we see that one can prove false to the power of Godly devotion.

THIS IS SO TRUE AS IT IS REFERRING TO HUMANS WHO REFUSE TO BELIEVE GOD'S WORD!

Is Godly devotion a person because it has power, and also one can "prove false to it?"

WELL FOLKS – THE ANSWER IS A BIG YES.

THIS PASSAGE TELLS US THAT THE “PEOPLE WHO EXERCISE POWER” WHICH  IS NOT THEIRS & THEN TEACH THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW BETTER, BUT EVEN WORSE – THEY “PRETEND” THAT THEY KNOW “GOD” & THEN EXERCISE FALSE TEACHINGS TO OTHERS.

ONLY HUMAN BEINGS 'EXERCISE' POWER OF OTHER HUMAN BEINGS IN SUCH MANNER!

Hebrews 7:16 says: "Who has become such, not according to the law of a commandment depending upon the flesh, but according to the power of an indestructible life." THE PASSAGE AS IT IS IN NIV – VERSE 15:

 “AND WHAT WE SAID IS EVEN MORE CLEAR IF ANOTHER PRIEST LIKE MELCHIZEDEK” APPEARS, 16 “ONE” WHO HAS BECAME A PRIEST NOT ON THE BASIS OF A REGULATION AS TO HIS ANCESTRY BUT ON THE “BASIS OF THE POWER” OF AN “INDESTRUCTIBLE LIFE.”

Here we read that an indestructible life has power. It is a person as well?

WELL DEAR READERS – WHAT DOES THE PASSAGE TELLS US?

IT TELLS US THAT “JESUS” WILL EXERCISE THE “POWER FROM HIS OWN AUTHORITY & NOT LIKE THE PROPHETS & PRIESTS OF OT. WHO EXERCISED THEIR POWER FROM THE REGULATIONS OF THE LAW THAT WAS GIVEN BY GOD.

JESUS WAS A PERSON & HE EXERCISED THE HEAVENLY POWER IN THE FLESH. SO IT WAS EXERCISED BY A HUMAN BEING WHO HAD GOD’S POWER.

Also Jesus words at John 20:22: "And after he said this he blew upon them and said to them: "Receive holy spirit." DEAR READERS WE HAVE GONE A LONG WAY FROM ROMANS PASSAGE HAVEN'T WE?

Did Jesus blow a "person" on the disciples? Hardly. The holy spirit has power, but this hardly makes it God any more then the above are God because they are spoken of as having power.

WELL FOLKS – WHEN WE LIE TO THIS POWER (HOLY SPIRIT) WE LOSE LIFE –

I SAY IT IS AN EXTREMELY POWERFUL INVISIBLE THING AS THIS AUTHOR ALLUDES TO. HOW ABOUT YOU??

JESUS TELLS US THAT HOLY SPIRIT IS LIKE WIND – WE CAN NOT SEE IT & COMES & GOES AS IT PLEASES WE HEAR THE SOUND, BUT CAN NOT TELL WHERE IT COMES FROM. SO IT IS WITH “EVERYONE” WHO IS BORN OF THE “SPIRIT.”

THEN THIS SPIRIT CALLS IT “ABBA FATHER” TO GOD (Galatians 4: 5-7 & Romans 8:15).

WE CAN NOT HEAR THE SPIRIT “LITERALLY CALLING OUT,” BUT BELIEVE JESUS WHEN HE SAYS THAT IT DOES. IF YOU DO NOT THEN YOU DO NOT FOLLOW HIM & HIS WORDS, BUT MERE WORDS OF “UNINSPIRED MEN.”

AS 2 TIMOTHY 3: 4- 7 TELLS US, THEY PRETEND TO BE OF GOD BUT DENY HIS EXISTENCE & POWER. THESE PEOPLE ARE FOLLOWERS OF FALSE TEACHERS WHO DENY THE HEAVENLY HOPE OF GOD’S CHILDREN, YOU & ME.

WOULD YOU ASK “HOLY SPIRIT” TO COME IN TO YOUR HEARTS CRYING OUT “ABBA FATHER” SO THAT YOU BECOME ADOPTED SON OF GOD.
