Some notes and comments on various Biblical texts some have used to promote the doctrine of the Trinity. The main approach that will be used to arrive at a proper balanced view of these texts is based on the FACT that the Bible interprets itself.

“I am the Al'pha and the O·me'ga," says Jehovah God, "the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty."
 WE HAVE TO START AT VERSE 7 NIV AGAIN:

7 “LOOK HE IS “COMING” WITHIN THE CLOUDS, AND EVERY EYE WILL “SEE” HIM, EVEN THOSE WHO “PIERCED HIM;” AND ALL THE PEOPLES OF THE EARTH WILL MOURN BECAUSE OF HIM. SO SHALL IT BE! AMEN.

8 I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA, SAYS THE LORD GOD, WHO IS, AND WHO WAS, AND WHO IS TO COME, THE ALMIGHTY.”

Some say this verse identifies Jesus Christ as the Alpha and the Omega, the Almighty. Thus Jesus is Jehovah God. Is this indeed the case? Does this verse identify Jesus as the Alpha and Omega and the Almighty?

{NOTE THAT THE ONE SPOKEN OF IN VERSE 7 IS “COMING” & NOT HERE SINCE 1914 - ALSO  EVERY EYE WILL “SEE” HIM. THIS ON WAS PIERCED ALSO. THIS IS ONLY JESUS & NO BODY ELSE.  I

N VERSE 8 THE SAME ONE [JESUS IS THE SPEAKER] THAT IS SPOKEN OF IN VERSE 7 TELLS US THAT HE IS THE ALPHA & OMEGA, WHO WAS WHO IS & WHO IS TO COME, THE ALMIGHTY. THIS IS JESUS, BUT AGAIN WE HAVE TO GO ELSEWHERE}.

Let us investigate.

BUT FIRST TAKE A LOOK IN YOUR “KIT” & YOU WILL SEE THAT IT IS THE “LORD” & NOT JEHOVAH IN ORIGINAL GREEK TEXT.

The term Alpha and Omega refers to the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. It's application to Jehovah here, as well as the other 2 places it appears in scripture, shows us that there is no other in the exact category as Jehovah God regarding his supreme power as the Almighty, and his eternalness. There is no one who is Jehovah's equal in all respects, nor could there ever be.

THIS IS NOT TRUE - JESUS TELLS US IN JOHN 17: 11-12 - THAT HE HAS THE "SAME" NAME AS HIS FATHER!

THIS THEN MAKES THE SON EQUAL TO HIS FATHER.  ALSO TAKE  A LOOK IN MALACHI 3:1 & ZAC 12:10  YOU WILL NOTE IT IS JEHOVAH WHO CAM DOWN FROM HIS HEAVENLY THRONE & HAD HIMSELF CRUCIFIED FOR YOUR SAKE. IN MATTHEW 3: 3 SAME FACT IS CONFIRMED - I AM REFERRING TO NWT NOW!!

Also this verse tells us that Jehovah is the "One who is," as well as the fact that it is Jehovah who is the Almighty. So can we apply these terms to Jesus? Let us take these terms one by one.

JESUS TELLS US THAT IT IS HE IN THE ABOVE PASSAGE, SEE THE WORDS “SAYS THE LORD GOD”. ALSO REMEMBER THAT NO ONE HAS SEEN NOR HEARD THE FATHER JOHN 5:37-38 & JOHN 1:18.

Alpha and the Omega. These words as mentioned above, have reference to the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet.

{THIS STATEMENT REFERS TO “FIRST & THE LAST OF CREATION, JESUS IS TELLING US THAT HE CONTROLS THE “WHOLE” SWEEP IN HISTORY}

They refer to Jehovah {LORD} having no beginning or ending, or being the first and the last. They also indicate that there is no God Almighty like Jehovah. Is Jesus the Alpha and the Omega? Is the title "Alpha and Omega" interchangeable with the term
"first and last" as some who teach trinity would lead us to believe?"

AGAIN: JESUS IS THE SPEAKER IN THE ABOVE VERSES & HE SHOULD KNOW, RIGHT!

Some answer yes because of Revelation 1:17,18 which reads: "And when I saw him, I fell as dead at his feet. And he laid his right hand upon me and said: "Do not be fearful. I am the First and the Last, and the living one; and I became dead, but, look! I am living forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of Ha'des." Here we see Jesus referred to as the "First and the Last." Thus, trinitarians conclude that because the title Alpha and Omega refers to "the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet," then Jesus is Jehovah. Is this what this scripture is teaching us? Let us look a bit farther.

AS I MENTIONED EARLIER – THE FIRST & THE LAST HAS REFERENCE TO GREEK ALPHABET, BUT THE FIRST & LAST IN THE REFERS TO GOD THE ALMIGHTY, IN THIS CASE JESUS USES THE PHRASE OF HIMSELF & HIS PRE-EMINENCE.

THERE IS NO OTHER & JESUS USES IT OF HIMSELF IN BOTH PASSAGES & NOT JUST IN VERSES 17 & 18.

Now in order to properly understand Jesus' words at Revelation 1:17,18, we also need to look at Revelation 2:8 {NO WE DO NOT, BUT WE WILL HAVE TO} which reads: "And to the angel of the congregation in Smyr'na write: These are the things that he says, 'the First and the Last,' who became dead and came to life [again]." Again we see that Jesus is indeed the First and the Last. And finally we look at Isaiah 44:6 which reads: "This is what Jehovah has said, the King of Israel and the Repurchaser of him, Jehovah of armies, 'I am the first and I am the last, and besides me there is no God." Here we see that Jehovah is called the first and the last. However does this mean that Jesus is Jehovah and that Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega? YES IT DOES, AS THERE CAN NOT BE TWO “FIRSTS & TWO LASTS.”

MALACHI 3:1 ATTEST TO THIS AS DOES ZAC. 12: 10 & JEREMIAH 10: 10-12 IN ANY RACE IF YOU ARE NOT FIRST OR LAST YOU ARE SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN OR “TIED” FOR FIRST OR LAST. GET THE POINT?  “TIED” - EQUAL!

We commented on the verse at Isaiah 44:6 extensively already. Please see the comments here. But lets develop some extended thoughts below:

Yes, Jesus is indeed called the "First and the Last." But in what "context"? As note below, there are plenty of usage's of the terms "first and last" in the Bible. How is Jesus, in Revelation 1:17,18 and Revelation 2:8 shown to be the "First and Last?" By saying that he "died and come to life again." Thus, his position is unique.

YES JESUS’ POSITION IS UNIQUE WHEN IT COMES TO HIM DYING & BEING RESURRECTED, BUT THE FIRST & THE LAST HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH JESUS’ DEATH & RESURRECTION.

THE AUTHOR IS TRYING TO TAKE YOU AWAY FROM THE SUBJECT AT HAND & DIVERT YOU TO ANOTHER SUBJECT. ‘LET’S STAY ON THE SUBJECT HERE & RELATE IT TO “WHO” JESUS IS & NOT GO TO HIS DEATH & RESURRECTION.

First off we ask: Can God die? Habakkuk 1:12 says: "Are you not from long ago, O Jehovah? O my God, my Holy One, you do not die." And again at 1 Timothy 1:17: "Now to the King of eternity, incorruptible, invisible, [the] only God, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen." Thus God cannot die, yet Jesus did die. {NO HE DID NOT, SEE BELOW} Thus
Jesus is Not God. (More on this under the heading 1 Peter 3:18).

IN THE 1 Timothy PASSAGE FROM VERSE 12 TO 17 TALKS ABOUT JESUS,  LET’S READ FROM VERSE 15:

“HERE IS A TRUSTWORTHY SAYING THAT DESERVES FULL ACCEPTANCE: CHRIST JESUS CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS – OF WHOM I AM THE WORST.

16 BUT FOR THAT VERY REASON I WAS SHOWN MERCY SO THAT “IN ME”, THE WORST SINNERS, CHRIST JESUS MIGHT DISPLAY HIS “UNLIMITED” PATIENCE AS AN EXAMPLE FOR THOSE WHO WOULD BELIEVE ON HIM AND RECEIVE “ETERNAL LIFE.” 17NOW TO THE KING ETERNAL, IMMORTAL, INVISIBLE, THE ONLY GOD, BE HONOUR AND GLORY FOR EVER END EVER. AMEN.”

NOTE THAT IT IS JESUS TO WHO PAUL IS TALKING ABOUT. THAT WHO EVER BELIEVES ON HIM WILL HAVE “ETERNAL LIFE” & TO HIM HE GIVES GLORY & HONOUR. NOTE VERY CAREFULLY THAT PAUL CALLS JESUS  "ETERNAL - IMMORTAL - INVISIBLE - THE ONLY GOD!!"

JESUS’ BODY WAS WITHOUT HIS “SPIRIT” FOR FEW HOURS - & THUS HIS BODY WAS DEAD, BUT HIS SPIRIT WAS WITH THE FATHER ALIVE & LIVING. IN LUKE 23:46 JESUS COMMITS (SENDS) HIS SPIRIT TO THE FATHER.

 THUS HIS IMMORTAL LIFE WAS NOT DEAD, JUST THE BODY HAD TO GO THROUGH THE “FULFILMENT” OF OT WRITINGS.

Secondly, his death and resurrection was unique. Remember, Jesus was NOT the first and last person to be resurrected. Many were raised from the dead, prior to, during, and after, Jesus life on earth.

{THE AUTHOR’S OWN WORDS CONDEMN HIM. HE TELLS US THAT JESUS WASN’T THE FIRST TO DIE & BE RESURRECTED. THEREFORE WE CAN NOT USE THE “FIRST & LAST” IN THAT LINE OF REASONING.} ALSO!! INTERESTING POINT HERE IS THAT JESUS WAS RESURRECTED - SINCE WHEN DOES WT TEACH THAT JESUS BODY WAS RESURRECTED?? IS THIS A "NEW  LIGHT" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT??

Could it be that Jesus will be the only person to have lived and gone to heaven? No, for he said to his disciples, that where he
was (in heaven), they too would be with him (in heaven). So then, they would die and go to heaven as well. Thus, we rightfully conclude that Jesus’ death and resurrection was unique. But, in what way?

BUT THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE “FIRST & LAST.” JESUS IS TALKING ABOUT HIS PRE-EMINENCE & NOT HIS RESURRECTION - IN THE ABOVE PASSAGE! JESUS DIDN'T SAY = I AM THE FIRST & THE LAST TO BE RESURRECTED - DID HE?

Jesus helps us to understand in just what unique way he was the "First and Last" regarding dying and coming to life again, at the very end of verse 18 where he stated: "…and I have the keys of death and of Ha'des" NO – THIS IS MISLEADING AGAIN.

YES JESUS DOES HAVE THE KEYS TO THE DEATH & HADES.

THIS MEANS THAT JESUS HAS “AUTHORITY” OVER THESE REALMS, DEATH & HADES. BLESSED BE HIS NAME.

WE HAVE TO STAND AT JESUS’ “DOOR” & BE JUDGED BY HIM AFTER OUR PHYSICAL DEATH. THUS, IF WE DO NOT WORSHIP IN THE SPIRIT & HONOUR JESUS AS HIS FATHER HAS TOLD  US TO DO, THEN JESUS WILL GIVE US “ETERNAL” SEPARATION FROM HIMSELF & HIS FATHER & THE LIFE IN HEAVEN IS NON-EXISTENT FOR US. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO ABOUT JESUS BEING “FIRST & LAST.

SEE JOHN 12: 26 WHAT JESUS SAYS ABOUT "HONOURING" HIM!!

Jesus at John 5:25-30 says this: "Most truly I say to YOU, The hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who have given heed will live. For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to do judging, because Son of man he is. Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practised vile things to a resurrection of judgement. I cannot do a single thing of my
own initiative; just as I hear, I judge; and the judgement that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me."  FROM VERSE 21 WE READ:

“ FOR JUST AS THE FATHER RAISES THE DEAD & GIVES THEM LIFE, EVEN SO THE SON GIVES LIFE TO WHOM HE IS PLEASED TO GIVE. (Do you want to be that one?)

22 MOREOVER, THE FATHER JUDGES NO ONE, BUT HAS ENTRUSTED “ALL” THE JUDGEMENT TO THE SON,

23 THAT “ALL” MAY HONOUR THE SON JUST AS THEY HONOUR THE FATHER. HE THAT DOES NOT HONOUR THE SON DOES NOT HONOUR THE FATHER, WHO SENT HIM. [Do you honour the Son as this verse states?}

24 I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, WHOEVER HEARS MY WORD AND BELIEVES HIM WHO SENT ME HAS ETERNAL LIFE AND WILL NOT BE CONDEMNED; HE HAS CROSSED OVER FROM DEATH TO LIFE.

{Have you crossed over from death to life by honouring the Son just as the Father has ordered? He is telling us the TRUTH.}

25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. {This is referring to those who are “SPIRITUALLY DEAD” & Jesus is calling them to accept Holy Spirit & be re born with the Spirit Living in their hearts. DO you have the Spirit living in your heart?}

26 FOR AS THE FATHER HAS LIFE IN HIMSELF, SO HE HAS GRANTED THE SON TO HAVE LIFE IN HIMSELF.

27 AND HE HAS GIVEN HIM  AUTHORITY TO JUDGE BECAUSE HE IS THE SON OF MAN.

28 DO NOT BE AMAZED AT THIS, FOR A TIME IS COMING WHEN ALL WHO ARE IN THEIR GRAVES WILL HEAR HIS VOICE

29 AND COME OUT- THOSE HAVE DONE GOOD WILL RISE TO LIVE, AND THOSE WHO HAVE EVIL WILL RISE TO BE CONDEMNED.

30 BY MYSELF I CAN NOT DO ANYTHING; I JUDGE ONLY AS I HEAR, AND MY JUDGEMENT IS JUST, FOR I SEEK NOT TO PLEASE MYSELF BUT HIM WHO SENT ME.” PLEASE READ JOHN 12: 26 ALSO!!

Notice here that the dead hear the voice of Jesus, and then are raised up to life.

{YES THAT IS “SPIRITUALLY DEAD. ARE YOU SPIRITUALLY DEAD?}

SPIRITUALLY DEAD ARE ALL WHO DO NOT HAVE HOLY SPIRIT INDWELLING IN THEM. THAT APPLIES TO THE PEOPLE LIVING AT THE TIME OF JESUS AS WELL AS PEOPLE LIVING AFTER THE CRUCIFIXION UP UNTIL THE END OF TIME}.

Verse 26 says that the Father GRANTED (Greek 'didomi' meaning "permitted to have;" "bestowed;" "given") the Son to have life in himself (immortality). Thus Jesus was NOT from eternity, for one who is from eternity cannot be GIVEN immortality, he already would have to possess it!

{NOT SO: THIS PASSAGE “MUST” BE UNDERSTOOD AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF OT, WHERE THE LIFE IS SPOKEN OF AS BELONGING TO GOD AND AS BEING HIS GIFT (DEUTERONOMY 30:20; Job 10:12; 33: 4; Ps. 16:11; 27: 1; 36:9; etc). THE SON HAS BEEN “GIVEN” THE SAME KIND OF LIFE THAT THE FATHER “POSSESSES” (see also 1 John 5:11 for the benefit of man).

Besides, Jesus was yet to die, so the application of this verse is in the future. NOT at the present.

{Yes it does – anyone who is Spiritually dead will not see God, but will be eternally separated from God & Jesus is the one who does the Judging.)

For even verse 28 says "….the hour is COMING in which ALL those in the memorial tombs will come out……" Thus the time was not then for ALL those in the graves to be raised up. (even though a small group of persons were raised by Jesus and the apostles while on earth.)

{Verse 28 is referring to the second resurrection & the first reference is to the “SPIRITUALLY DEAD.}

But look at Verse 27. There Jesus is said to be given authority. This authority is for the judging of the resurrected dead that "hear the voice of the Son of Man." Yes!

HEAR THE VOICE OF THE SON AS YOU WILL STAND AT “SONS” DOOR & BE JUDGED BY HIM FIRST & FOREMOST.

Thus the keys of Death and Hades Jesus has in his hands, must have to do with the resurrection.

WHY MUST IT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH RESURRECTION?  NO – JESUS HAS THE “AUTHORITY” OVER THESE REALMS. THAT IS JESUS HAS THE “POWER & AUTHORITY” TO GRANT YOU A LIFE WITH HIM & HIS FATHER OR GIVE YOU ETERNAL SEPARATION FROM HIMSELF & FOR YOU TO BE WITH THE DEVIL IN HADES.

So then we ask: Who resurrected Jesus to heaven, and in what way was this unique enough, to have Jesus say that He was the "First and the Last" of this type of resurrection?

JESUS RESURRECTED HIMSELF, HOLY SPIRIT RESURRECTED HIM & FATHER RESURRECTED HIM. ALL 3 WORK IN UNISON & NOT APART FROM EACH OTHER. SEE JOHN 2:19 & ROMANS 8:11 & 1 THESSALONIANS 1:10.

Well, notice back in John 5:26,27, that it was the Father, that gave Jesus immortality and the authority to raise the dead and Judge them.

{AS I SAID ABOVE THIS PASSAGE MUST BE UNDERSTOOD AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF OT, WHERE LIFE BELONGS TO GOD & AS BEING A GIFT FROM HIM. THE SON {JESUS} HAS BEEN GIVEN THE SAME KIND OF LIFE THAT FATHER POSSESSES
“ETERNAL” ONE.}

Thus, Jesus own literal death and resurrection had to be by his Father! Galatians 1:1 says this: "Paul, an apostle, neither from
men nor through a man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him up from the dead."

SEE ALSO ROMANS 8:11& JOHN 2:19. ALL 3 WORK TOGETHER, WHATEVER ONE DOES SO DO THE OTHER TWO. THE RESURRECTION IN PAUL’S LETTERS WAS PLACED IN SUCH A WAY, SO TO SHOW JEWS & GENTILES THAT “CHRISTIANITY” IS TO BE THE BASIS OR CENTRAL TO THEIR FAITH. AS PAUL HAS SEEN RISEN CHRIST. HE IS QUALIFIED TO BE HIS DISCIPLE AT THAT TIME IN HISTORY & SPREAD THE GOSPEL & TEACHING THE “KINGDOM OF GOD” – AGAINST “INNOCENT” ANIMAL SACRIFICES.

More on Jesus Resurrection under John 2:19,21

Thus the Father raised Jesus DIRECTLY. {NOT COMPLETE TRUTH- SEE ROMANS 8:11 & JOHN 2:19}. This was the unique aspect of his resurrection. Hence the Title the "First and Last."

{NOT SO. THE FIRST & THE LAST REFERS TO JESUS AS THE “ALMIGHTY GOD” & NOT TO HIS RESURRECTION. THE AUTHOR HIMSELF SAID THAT WE SHOULDN’T REFER TO JESUS’ RESURRECTION AS JESUS WASN’T THE “FIRST” TO BE RAISED FROM DEAD. NOR WILL HE BE THE “LAST” TO BE RAISED FROM THE DEAD, SO WE CAN NOT REFERENCE IT TO JESUS DEATH AS IT IS NOT TRUE.}

All other resurrections to heaven in the future, will be done THROUGH Jesus.

So at Revelation 1:17,18 as well as Revelation 2:8, we are forced to conclude that Jesus is the "first and last," in that he was the "first and last" person to be DIRECTLY resurrected to Heaven by Jehovah God himself!

NOT AT ALL, WE ARE “NOT FORCED” TO BELIEVE ANY SUCH CLAIMS – AS IT IS NOT TRUE.

JESUS RESURRECTED HIS HUMAN FLESH BY SENDING HIS SPIRIT BACK INTO THE BODY. HOLY SPIRIT ALSO PLAYED A PART IN THAT GLORY JUST AS DID THE FATHER.

But can we then say that because Jehovah is called the Alpha and the Omega, that Jesus is Jehovah?

JESUS CALLS HIMSELF “FIRST & THE LAST” & ALPHA & OMEGA & HE SHOULD KNOW, SHOULDN’T HE? IN REVELATION 22:12 – 17 WE READ WHERE JESUS IS TALKING:

“BEHOLD, I AM COMING SOON! MY REWARD IS WITH ME, AND I WILL GIVE TO EVERYONE ACCORDING TO WHAT HE HAS DONE.

13 ‘I AM THE ALPHA & THE OMEGA, THE FIRST & THE LAST, THE BEGINNING & THE END.

14 BLESSED ARE THOSE WHOWASH THEIR ROBES, THEY MAY HAVE THE RIGHT TO THE TREE OF LIFE AND MAY GO THROUGH THE GATES INTO THE CITY.

15 OUTSIDE ARE DOGS, THOSE WHO PRACTICE MAGIC ARTS, THE SEXUALLY IMMORAL, THE MURDER'S, THE IDOLATERS & EVERYONE WHO LOVES AND PRACTICES FALSE HOOD.

16 I, JESUS, HAVE SENT MY ANGEL TO GIVE YOU THIS TESTIMONY FOR THE CHURCHES. I AM THE ROOT AND THE OFFSPRING OF DAVID, AND THE BRIGHT MORNING STAR.

17 THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY, “COME!” AND LET HIM WHO HEARS SAY, “COME!” WHOEVER ISTHIRSTY, LET HIM COME; AND WHOEVER WISHES, LET HIM TAKE THE FREE GIFT OF THE WATER OF LIFE.”

PLEASE NOTE THAT JESUS FOR THE THIRD TIME APPLIES THE WORDS “I AM THE ALPHA & THE OMEGA & I AM THE FIRST & THE LAST” & NOW HE ADDS THE WORDS “I AM THE BEGINNING & THE END.” THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE BEGINNING & ONE
END! YOU CAN NOT HAVE TWO BEGINNINGS OR ENDS, CAN YOU? PLEASE READ VERSES 18& 19 ALSO.

No. For the term Alpha and Omega does NOT equal the term "first and last," in every instance. NOT TRUE!!

{IF IT DOES NOT – THEN WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM. AS IT WOULD MAKE JESUS A LIAR. IN ALL OCCASIONS "ALPHA" REFERS TO THE FIRST LETTEROF GREEK ALPHABET & AT NO TIME DOES IT REFER TO ANY OTHER LETTER OF THE GREEK ALPHABET. SAME APPLIES TO OMEGA - IT IS ALWAYS THE LAST LETTER & NEVER ANY OTHER!}

LETS GET REAL HERE FOLKS - & STOP MAKING UP RULES AS WE GO ALONG!!  WHEN IN THE WORLD DOES ALPHA & OMEGA MEAN SOMETHING ELSE - BUT FIRST & LAST - PLEASE PROVIDE EXAMPLES & FREE CREATE THE RULES OF GREEK ALPHABET!!

Remember in the only two instances we find the term "First and Last" as applied to Jesus, is with direct regard to his dying and being made alive again. {NO IT DOES NOT, SEE REV 22:12-17 ABOVE.}  There are many that share the same titles in the Bible.

{YES – SO TRUE, BUT THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH JESUS BEING“ FIRST & THE LAST” OF CREATION & PRE-EMINENCE.}

 See comments regarding Isaiah 9:6. Thus we learn that just because two persons share the same title, this hardly is an identifier of person hood.

AGAIN – IF IT DOES NOT IDENTIFY THE PERSON HOOD, THEN WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM AS THIS WOULD MAKE JESUS A LIAR. IN ISAIAH 9:6 JESUS IS CALLED “MIGHTY GOD, PRINCE OF  PEACE, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE.” NOT A BAD NAME WOULDN’T YOU SAY? YET WT & JW’S DENY HIM THIS TITLE & ALL OTHERS AS IT DOES NOT FIT IN WITH THEIR TEACHING.

WOULD GOD LIE TO US?? NOT IN MY BOOKS - HOW ABOUT YOU?? DOES GOD NEED YOU & ME TO TELL HIM THAT HE DOESN'T KNOW WHO HE IS?? NOT IN MY BOOKS - HOW ABOUT YOURS??

 Also the Title "Alpha and Omega" is NOT the same as just saying, or using the phrase "first and last" anyway, as noted above.

{YES IT IS, AS IT DENOTES THE “BEGINNING & ENDING” OF SOMETHING IN “EVERY” CASE, JUST AS THE WORDS “FIRST & THE LAST MEAN.”}

The usage of "First and Last" at Revelation 1:17, and Revelation 2:8 are as a Title. {THEY DENOTE BEGINNING & ENDING AS WELL AS THE TITLE OF JESUS.} There are many usage's of the phrase "first and last," through out the Bible, but they hardly indicate the ones being spoken of are indeed Jehovah God, the Alpha and the Omega, or Jesus Christ, for that matter. Please note every instance of this phrase, or use there of, as well as the application of it, in the following places where it is found throughout the Bible:

IN THE REVELATION PASSAGE THE WORDS “FIRST & THE LAST, THE ALPHA & OMEGA & THE BEGINNING & THE END” JESUS HIMSELF  RELATES THEM  TO HIMSELF & NO ON ELSE. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE WHEN PERSON RELATES THE WORDS TO HIMSELF & WHEN OTHERS RELATE IT TO ANOTHER SUBJECT.

With regard to Ruth  at Ruth 3:10: "At that he said: "Blessed may you be of Jehovah, my daughter. You have expressed your loving kindness better in the last instance than in the first instance." AS IT IS RENDERED IN NIV FROM VERSE 9:

“I AM YOUR SERVANT RUTH, SHE SAID. SPREAD THE CORNER OF YOUR GARMENT OVER ME, SINCE YOU ARE A KINSMAN –REDEEMER.

10 THE LORD BLESS YOU, MY DAUGHTER, HE REPLIED. ‘THIS KINDNESS IS GREATER THAN THAT WHICH YOU SHOWED EARLIER: YOU HAVE NOT RUN AFTER THE YOUNG MEN, WHETHER RICH OR POOR.

 As you can see this passage has nothing to do with the ‘FIRST & THE LAST,” BUT WITH RUTH & BOAZ & WHAT BOAZ SAID TO HER. PLEASE READ THE WHOLE CHAPTER & YOU WILL NOTICE THAT RUTH’S MOTHER IN LAW WANTS RUTH TO MARRY BOAZ, WHICH HE DOES IN CHAPTER 4.

NOT ONE SINGLE VERSE REFERS TO REVELATION DISCUSSION, BUT TO SOMETHING TOTALLY IRRELEVANT. JUST LIKE THE RUTH PASSAGE.

With regard to the reading of God's law at Nehemiah 8:18: "And there was a reading aloud of the book of the law of the [true] God day by day, from the first day until the last day; and they went on holding the festival seven days, and on the eighth day there was a solemn assembly, according to the rule."

THE FIRST & THE LAST DAYS HERE REFER TO THE “FESTIVAL” DAYS. FROM THE FIRST DAY OF THE FESTIVAL TO THE LAST DAY OF THE FESTIVAL THEY READ FROM THE BOOK OF LAW.

JUST AS ON ANY GIVEN DAY OF A SPORTING EVENT LIKE OLYMPICS ETC. THERE ARE SPORTING EVENTS FROM THE FIRST DAY TO THE LAST DAY.

BUT AGAIN THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH JESUS CALLING HIMSELF THE “FIRST & THE LAST” OF GOD. DOES IT? OF COURSE NOT!

With regard to Jehovah's faithfulness to his people at Isaiah 41:4: "Who has been active and has done [this], calling out the generations from the start? "I, Jehovah, the First One; and with the last ones I am the same."

 PLEASE READ THE WHOLE PASSAGE & YOU WILL SEE THAT “LORD” IS TALKING ABOUT HIMSELF HERE. LORD WAS WITH THE FIRST OF THEM (GENERATIONS OFNATIONS)  & HE WILL BE WITH THE LAST GENERATION IN THE SAME MANNER. LORD IS “EVERLASTING, THERE IS NO BEGINNING NOR END TO HIM.LORD HAS ALWAYS BEEN FAITHFUL TO HIS PEOPLE & ALWAYS WILL BE.

With regard to Jehovah's supremacy at Isaiah 44:6 (see comments on this verse here): "This is what Jehovah has said, the King of Israel and the Repurchaser of him, Jehovah of armies, 'I am the first and I am the last, and besides me there is no God."

AS NIV HAS RENDERED THE PASSAGE:

“THIS IS WHAT THE LORD SAYS – ISRAEL'S KING AND REDEEMER: ‘I AM THE FIRST & THE LAST; APART FROM ME THERE IS NO GOD.’”

NOTE THAT JESUS CALLS HIMSELF “FIRST & THE LAST, THE ALMIGHTY GOD IN REVELATION 1: 7-8 & HERE IT TELLS US THAT THERE IS NO OTHER GOD BUT THE FIRST & THE LAST WHO IS THIS GOD. ALSO REMEMBER THAT NO ONE HAS SEEN NOR HEARD THE FATHER (John 5: 37-38).

THERE CAN NOT BE ANYONE ELSE BUT JESUS WHO IS CALLING HIMSELF “FIRST &
THE LAST IN ISAIAH PASSAGE.

With regard to Jehovah's constancy at Isaiah 48:12 (see comments on Isaiah 44:6 page): "Listen to me, O Jacob, and you Israel my called one. I am the same One. I am the first. Moreover, I am the last."

OUR POINT EXACTLY – JESUS IS THE “SAME ONE” IN ISAIAH & REVELATION.

OTHERWISE JESUS IS LYING TO US & WE KNOW THAT HE DOES NOT LIE AS HE IS
GOD & GOD DOES NOT LIE, BUT ONLY TELLS US THE TRUTH.

IT IS MAN WHO DENIES GOD, ALWAYS HAS & ALWAYS WILL – THAT IS THE NATURE OF THE HUMANKIND. YET HE CONTINUALLY LOVES US & WANTS ALL TO REPENT & COME TO HIM FOR SALVATION 2 Peter 3:9. DO YOU WANT TO REPENT & COME TO GOD OR FOLLOW MEN?

With regard to the kingdom of the north verses the kingdom of the south at Daniel 11:29: "At the time appointed he will go back, and he will actually come against the south; but it will not prove to be at the last the same as at the first."

“THE KING OF THE NORTH WILL RETURN TO HIS OWN COUNTRY WITH GREAT WEALTH, BUT HIS HEART WILL BE  SET AGAINST THE HOLY COVENANT. HE WILL TAKE ACTION AGAINST IT AND THEN RETURN TO HIS OWN COUNTRY.

In brief THIS IS TALKING ABOUT ANTIOCHUS IN 169 B.C.  WHO PLUNDERED THE TEMPLE OF JERUSALEM, HE SET UP HIS GARRISON THERE & PLUNDERED MANY JEWS IN THE CITY. SEE IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE REVELATION PASSAGE OR
CHRIST, BUT TO A TOTALLY DIFFERENT EVENT IN HISTORY.

With regard to kingdom privileges in Matthew 19:30; 20:16; Mark 10:31 & Luke 13:30: "But many that are first will be last and the last first."

AS SOON AS JESUS SEES THAT A PERSON IS “BELIEVING” IN HIM AS HIS/HERS LORD GOD WHO SAVED THEM BY DYING ON THE CROSS FOR THEM. HE WILL ACCEPT THEM IN TO HIS KINGDOM.

LIKE THE OWNER OF A VINEYARD WHO HE PAID THE “FULL DAYS WAGES” EVEN THOUGH THAT HE EMPLOYED HIM “LAST.”

IT IS JESUS TO GIVE IN “FULL” TO ALL BELIEVERS, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE “LAST” TO REPENT. THERE IS “NO” FAVOURITISM WITH HIM. EVERYTHING THAT IS HIS – HE IS GOING TO SHARE IT WITH “ALL” OF THOSE WHO COME TO HIM.

 With regard to payment of workers in Matthew 20:8: "When it became evening, the master of the vineyard said to his man in charge, 'Call the workers and pay them their wages, proceeding from the last to the first."

AS IT IS IN NIV:“ WHEN THE EVENING CAME, THE OWNER OF THE VINEYARD SAIDTO HIS FOREMEN, CALL THE WORKERS AND PAY THEM THEIR WAGES, BEGINNING WITH THE LAST ONES HIRED AND GOING TO THE FIRST.”

SEE IT’S TALKING ABOUT AN ORDER OF PAYMENT – FROM LAST HIRED TO FIRST HIRED.

IT WAS OWNERS CHOICE TO PAY IN ANY ORDER THAT HE CHOSE TO & HE STARTED WITH THE LAST ONES HIRED FIRST.

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOUR OWNER IS?  “JESUS!” DO YOU KNOW TO WHOM DOES YOUR SPIRIT RETURN AFTER PHYSICAL DEATH? JESUS! HE GAVE IT TO YOU SO IT RETURNS TO HIM FOR JUDGEMENT. ECCLESIASTES 12:7; PSALM 104 29-30. DO YOU WANT YOUR SPIRIT TO BE WITH JESUS OR SEPARATED FROM JESUS?? IT'S UP TO YOU!!

With regard to the disciples supposed deception at Matthew 27:64: "Therefore command the grave to be made secure until the third day, that his disciples may never come and steal him and say to the people, 'He was raised up from the dead!' and this last imposture will be worse than the first." NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SUBJECT T HAND AGAIN, LET’S SEE IT FROM NIV:

THIS IS WHERE PILOT WAS ASKED TO GIVE THE ORDER TO GUARD THE TOMB OF JESUS ON THE REQUEST OF JEWISH PRIESTS:

“SO GIVE THE ORDER FOR THE TOMB TO BE MADE SECURE UNTIL THE THIRD DAY. OTHERWISE, HIS DISCIPLES MAY COME AND STEAL THE BODY AND TELL THE PEOPLE THAT HE HAS BEEN RAISED FROM THE DEAD. THIS LAST DECEPTION WILL BE WORSE THAN THE FIRST.”

WHAT THIS IS TELLING US IS THIS. THE FIRST DECEPTION WAS THAT JESUS WAS THE MESSIAH.

JEWISH PRIEST DID NOT BELIEVE THAT & NOW IF JESUS WERE TO BE “RESURRECTED” THEN THE SECOND (LAST) DECEPTION WOULD MEAN THAT JESUS WAS THE “SON OF GOD.”

JEWISH PRIESTS COULDN'T ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN SO THEY ASKED PILOT FOR HELP. WHICH HE OBLIGED & HE POSTED GUARDS AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE TOMB, SEE THE FOLLOWING VERSES IN YOUR BIBLE.

With regard to being a servant of others at Mark 9:35: "So he sat down and called the twelve and said to them: "If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all and minister of all."

“IF ANYONE WANTS TO BE FIRST, HE “MUST BE” THE VERY LAST, AND THE SERVANT OF ALL.”

THIS IS TELLING US THAT ANYONE WHO WANTS TO FOLLOW JESUS – THEN HE/SHE “MUST” PLACE THEMSELVES “VERY LAST” & BECAME A “SERVANT” TO EVERYONE. THAT IS THE “I” COMES LAST & NOT FIRST.

With regard to the first and last Adam at 1 Cor. 15:45: "It is even so written: "The first man Adam became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. FROM NIV VERSE 42:

“SO WILL IT BE WITH THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD. THE BODY THAT IS SOWN IS PERISHABLE, IT IS RAISED IMPERISHABLE;

43 IT IS SOWN IN DISHONOUR, IT IS RAISED IN GLORY; IT IS IN WEAKNESS, IT IS RAISED IN POWER;

44 IT IS SOWN NATURAL BODY, IT IS RAISED SPIRITUAL BODY.  IF THERE IS A NATURAL BODY, THERE IS ALSO A SPIRITUAL
     BODY.

45 SO IT IS WRITTEN: THE FIRST MAN ADAM BECAME A LIVING BEING; THE LAST ADAM, A LIFE - GIVING SPIRIT.

46 THE SPIRITUAL DID NOT CAME FIRST, BUT THE NATURAL, AND AFTER THAT THE SPIRITUAL.

 ARE YOU A SPIRITUAL PERSON OR EARTHLY PERSON?

DOES HOLY SPIRIT RESIDE IN YOUR BODY OR ARE YOU OF THIS WORLD & FOLLOWING MEN OF THIS WORLD?

With regard to Jesus death and resurrection Revelation 1:17; 2:8: "And when I saw him, I fell as dead at his feet.

THAT IS JESUS THAT JOHN FELL DOWN AS DEAD.

And he laid his right hand upon me and said: "Do not be fearful. I am the First and the Last"  Rev. 2:8: "And to the angel of the congregation in Smyr'na write: These are the things that he says, 'the First and the Last,' who became dead and came t o life [again].

"NOTE THAT JESUS IS SPEAKING & TELLING JOHN THAT HE IS THE “FIRST & THE LAST.”

With regard to Jehovah's being eternal Revelation 22:13. "I am the Al'pha and the O·me'ga, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

THIS IS JESUS SPEAKING AGAIN. THIS WHOLE PASSAGE WHERE JESUS IS SPEAKING IS FROM VERSE 12 TO 16 & IN VERSE 16 BEGINS WITH THE WORDS “I JESUS..”

Thus we see that the instances of the term "first and last" are not always dealing with identity. This phrase has many applications and uses. It can be and is used as a Title, in Revelation 1:17, & 2:8, however, this does not mean that every time it is used, it refers to Jesus.

SO TRUE! IT CAN REFER TO THE PERSON FINISHING THE RACE “FIRST” OR “LAST,” BUT THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PASSAGE.

JESUS APPLIES THE WORDS TO“HIMSELF” IN EVERY INSTANCE IN THE REVELATIONPASSAGES THAT WE ARE DISCUSSING.

JESUS IS NOT REFERRING TO A RACE, APOSTLES OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER, “BUT TO HIMSELF.”

HE IS THE “FIRST & THE LAST, THE BEGINNING & THE END, THE ALPHA & THE OMEGA." HE IS USING THE WORDS AS A TITLE & HE IS APPLYING THIS TITLE "FIRST & LAST" TO HIMSELF - AS FAR AS HIS PRE-EMINENCE IS CONCERNED!!

What of the term Alpha and Omega? Is it ever used interchangeably at any of these verses? Please note the following places this Title appears: SEE LAST STATEMENT.

Revelation 1:8: "I am the Al'pha and the O·me'ga," says Jehovah God, "the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty."

NOTE HERE THAT “HE IS COMING.”  THE ONLY ONE THAT CHRISTIANS ARE EXPECTING TO COME IS “JESUS” HIMSELF & NOT THE FATHER.THIS ONE THAT IS COMING IS CALLED THE “ALMIGHTY.”

Revelation 21:6: "And he said to me: "They have come to pass! I am the Al'pha and the O·me'ga, the beginning and the end. To anyone thirsting I will give from the fountain of the water of life free."

JESUS IS THE ONE WHO GIVES THE FOUNTAIN IF RUNNING WATER JOHN 4:10-14

Revelation 22:13: "I am the Al'pha and the O·me'ga, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

JESUS  IS DESCRIBING HIMSELF HERE AS HE IS THE SPEAKER & HE IS APPLYING THE TITLES TO HIMSELF.

Thus the only three times the title "Alpha and Omega" appears in the Bible, it always refers to Jehovah God. It is used with the phrase "beginning and the end" once at Revelation 21:6, and with the phrase "first and the last" at Revelation 22:13. Both of these verses have strict application to Jehovah God (see comments on Revelation 22:13 below for further discussion).

EACH TIME THESE WORDS ARE USED “JESUS IS SPEAKING” & HE APPLIES THEM TO HIMSELF. HE IS THE ONE WHO WAS PIERCED; HE IS the one who is COMING etc.

Thus we conclude, that we cannot make the blanket statement that because something, or  someone is spoken of as being the "first and the last" it is referring to the "Alpha and the Omega", Jehovah God, just as we cannot say that because something, or someone is spoken of as being the "first and the last" it is referring to Jesus Christ. The two terms or Titles are not interchangeable.

YES THEY ARE, AS I KEEP SAYING – IN EACH OCCASION “JESUS” IS APPLYING THESE WORDS TO HIMSELF & NO ONE ELSE.

JESUS IS NOT “SPOKEN OF” HERE – JESUS IS THE ONE THAT IS APPLYING THESE WORDS FOR HIMSELF.

JUST BECAUSE THE WORDS “FIRST & THE LAST” -“BEGINNING & THE END” – ALPHA & OMEGA” CAN BE APPLIED TO ANY SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES, LIKE A RACE, SET OF SAUCE PANS FROM LARGE TO SMALL, FAMILY MEMBERS ETC.

THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT WHEN JESUS APPLIES THE SAME WORDS TO HIMSELF.

THAT WE CAN GO & DISPUTE HIS WORDS JUST BECAUSE IT DOES NOT APPLY TO OUR REASONING & TEACHING OF HIS WORD.
But what of Revelation 22:13? Is not the one speaking Jesus Christ himself? Let us look into this verse. Here we read: "I am the Al'pha and the O·me'ga, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

Is this indeed Jesus speaking? Some answer YES!

WE CAN NOT JUST LOOK AT “ONE” VERSE & THEN “MAKE” THINGS UP AS WE LIKE. WE “MUST” READ THE ENTIRE PASSAGE & THEN & ONLY THEN “DECIDE” WHO THE SPEAKER IS OR “OF WHOM” THE WORDS ARE SPEAKING ABOUT OR TO.

IN VERSE 12 WE READ THESE WORDS “BEHOLD, I AM COMING SOON!” NOW – WHOM ARE WE EXPECTING? “JESUS” OF COURSE.

WE READ ON “MY REWARD IS WITH ME, AND I WILL GIVE TO EVERYONE ACCORDING TO WHAT HE HAS DONE.”

Note that jesus reward is with himself & no one else!!
NOW AGAIN LET’S SEE – WHO IS GIVING TO EVERYONE? JESUS IS THE ONE THAT WE “WILL FACE FIRST” WHEN WE DIE & THEN JESUS WILL TELL US WHERE WE WILL GO, EITHER WITH HIM & HIS FATHER OR IN ETERNAL SEPARATION FROM GOD.

REMEMBER JOHN 5:22-23 ??FATHER “DOES NOT” JUDGE” ANYONE – HE HAS LEFTTHAT TO HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. AND JOHN 12: 26!!

THEN WE READ ON:“I AM THE ALPHA & THE OMEGA, THE FIRST & THE LAST, THE BEGINNING & THE END.

NOW WE HAVE TO ASK OURSELVES – WHO IS THIS SPEAKING? THE ANSWER IS THAT IT IS THE SAME PERSON WHO IS IN THE VERSE 12 & HE CALLS HIMSELF “ALPHA & THE OMEGA, FIRST & THE LAST & THE BEGINNING & THE END.

THEN WE READ VERSES 14 & 15 WHERE JESUS TELLS US WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THOSE WHO DO NOT OBEY HIM 7 THOSE WHO DO NOT. THEN IN VERSE 16 WE READTHESE WORDS:

“I, JESUS, HAVE SENT MY ANGEL TO GIVE YOU THIS TESTIMONY FOR THE CHURCHES. I AM THE ROOT AND THE OFFSPRING OF DAVID, & THE BRIGHT MORNINGSTAR.”

AS YOU CAN SEE IT JESUS, AS HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS COME FROM THE ROOT OF DAVID TO BE OUR SAVIOR.

WE HAVE TO READ THE ENTIRE” PASSAGE TO GET TO THE BIG PICTURE & “NOT” ONE PART & THEN MAKE IT UP AS WE GO ALONG.

Well, in order to answer this Biblically, we need to look at the entire 22nd chapter of Revelation to arrive at a proper Biblical conclusion.

We will therefore start with Revelation 22:1 which reads: "And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, flowing out from the throne of God and of the Lamb." Here we see it is the angel that John says showed him, the river of water of life. The angel continues to speak with him through verse 5. TRUE!

Then in verse 6,7 the angel continues his discourse: "And he said to me: "These words are faithful and true; yes, Jehovah the God of the inspired expressions of the prophets sent his angel forth to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. {NOT TRUE – IT IS JESUS & WE WILL SEE AGAIN THAT IT IS JESUS}  And, look! I am coming quickly. {WHO IS COMING QUICKLY? THE AUTHOR BY PASSES THIS STATEMENT. Hmmmmmm} Happy is anyone observing the words of the prophecy of this scroll." Yes the angel tells John the means by which this message was delivered, and then speaks in the name of Jesus, and says "Look I am coming quickly."

THE AUTHOR JUST TOLD US THAT ANGEL WAS SPEAKING ON BEHALF OF JEHOVAH & ALL OF A SUDDEN IT IS JESUS, INTERESTING READING ISN’T IT? THIS IS WHAT I MEAN – “MAKING THINGS UP” AS WE GO ALONG.

Then it is the apostle John who speaks in verse 8: "Well, I John was the one hearing and seeing these things. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that had been showing me these things." Then what happens?

Then the angel speaks next: "But he tells me: "Be careful! Do not do that! All I am is a fellow slave {SERVANT – JESUS DOES NOT HAVE SLAVES} of you and of your brothers who are prophets and of those who are observing the words of this scroll. Worship God."

Then the angel continues in verses 10-11: "He also tells me: "Do not seal up the words of the  prophecy of this scroll, for the appointed time is near. He that is doing unrighteousness, let him do unrighteousness still; and let the filthy one be made filthy still; but let the righteous one do righteousness still, and let the holy one be made holy still." Then does the angel continue to speak? No. TRUE AGAIN!

Then it is Jehovah God that speaks in verses 12-15: {I WILL SAY THIS FIRST – “WHO IS THE ONE “COMING” JESUS OR THE FATHER?  WHO IS THE JUDGE etc. do you get the point?} "'Look! I am coming quickly, and the reward I give is with me, [WHO GIVES REWARDS ? JESUS RIGHT!]  to render to each one as his work is. I am the Al'pha and the O·me'ga, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Happy are those who wash their robes, that the authority [to go] to the trees of life may be theirs and that they may gain entrance into the city by its gates. Outside are the dogs and those who practice spiritism and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone liking and carrying on a lie.' Here we see the Alpha and the Omega, (the ho on according to Rev. 1:8) the first and the last (Isaiah 48:12) the
beginning and the end (Rev. 21:6) speaks.

AGAIN I ASK – WHO IS COMING, WHO IS THE JUDGE, WHO GIVES US RUNNING WATER?  WHO GIVES REWARDS ? ETC. JESUS IS THE ANSWER IS EACH CASE.

NOW THE AUTHOR IS TRYING TO TELL US THAT THE SPEAKER CHANGES. THIS IS UTTER RUBBISH.

IN THE ORIGINAL GREEK TEXT THERE WAS “NO” VERSES OR PARAGRAPHS AS WE HAVE THEM TODAY. THIS WAS DONE FOR OUR BENEFIT SO THAT WE CAN CROSS REFERENCE FROM ONE PASSAGE TO ANOTHER WITH GREAT EASE.

THE SPEAKER IS THE ONE & THE SAME AS IT IS IN THE LAST 2 VERSES.

Then who speaks next? [SAME AS IN THE LAST TWO VERSES} It is Jesus who speaks, for at Revelation 22:16 we read: "'I, Jesus, sent my angel to bear witness to YOU people of these things for the congregations. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright morning star.'" Here we see Jesus as speaking. Is that all? Does the chapter end here? No!

NOTE HERE THAT IT IS JESUS' ANGEL!! NOT JEHOVAS!!

For verse 17 has others speaking, namely the spirit and then the bride then speak: "And the spirit and the bride keep on saying: "Come!" And let anyone hearing say: "Come!" And let anyone thirsting come; let anyone that wishes take life's water free." Yes, here we see the spirit and the bride next speak! But who next?

OK FOLKS – NOW THE HOLY SPIRIT “SPEAKS” YET THIS AUTHOR TELLS US THAT “HOLY SPIRIT” IS AN ‘IT’ IN EARLIER PASSAGES LIKE ACTS 5:3-4. HMMMM!

BY THE WAY, SPIRIT “DOES SPEAK” TO EACH & EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO LISTEN TO HIM. JUST AS HE SAYS IN THE LAST VERSE & IN THE NEXT VERSE.

Jesus then speaks: {NOT SO: IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT SPEAKS HERE & NOT JESUS}." I am bearing witness to everyone that hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll; and if anyone takes anything away from the words of the scroll of this
prophecy, God will take his portion away from the trees of life and out of the holy city, things which are written about in this scroll. "He that bears witness of these things says, 'Yes; I am coming quickly.'" Yes Jesus here returns to speaking and tells us he is coming quickly.

[NOW THE AUTHOR TELLS US THAT IT IS JESUS WHO IS COMING. WE KNOW THAT THIS IS SO, THEREFORE IN THE SAME PERSON THAT IS COMING QUICKLY INVERSE 12 IS JESUS ALSO.}

But does this end the discourse? Let us see.

The apostle John then continues: "Amen! Come, Lord Jesus." [May] the undeserved kindness {GRACE} of the Lord Jesus Christ [be] with the holy ones."

{WHY WASN’T THE WORD “KURIOS” BEING RENDERED HERE AS JEHOVAH? THEY RENDER IT AS “LORD” – DO YOU ASK YOURSELF THE SAME QUESTION? I HOPE THAT YOU DO!}

Yes it is the apostle John who says an AMEN to the coming of Jesus Christ and prays the undeserved kindness of Jesus be with all the Holy Ones.

NOTE AGAIN – JESUS IS THE ONE THAT “IS COMING” – WHICH MAKES HIM JEHOVAH ACCORDING TO THE VERSE 12 OF THIS BOOK.ALSO – JESUS IS “COMING” & “NOT” INVISIBLY PRESENT IN BROOKLYN!

So let us summarize the above: ONE: We see the angel speaks first in the Chapter (verses 1-7)

NOT  COMPLETELY TRUE! THE FIRST 6 VERSES IT IS THE ANGEL. IN VERSE 7 IT IS JESUS WHO IS SPEAKING.

TWO: Then we see John speaks (verse 8) TRUE!

THREE: Then we see the angel once again speak (verse 9-11) TRUE!

FOUR: Then we see Jehovah speaks (verse 12-15) NOT TRUE!!

WHO IS THE ONE THAT IS ‘COMING”?? THAT IS JESUS RIGHT!

THE ONE WHO IS COMING IS SPEAKING & NOT HIS FATHER. THEREFORE JESUS IS “JEHOVAH.” CAN YOU SEE THIS? WE ARE NOT EXPECTING THE FATHER TO COME, BUT THE SON. WOULD YOU GET THAT PICTURE IN YOUR MIND?

FIVE: Then we see Jesus speak (verse 16) THIS IS THE SAME ONE THAT IS COMING IN VERSES 12-15.

SIX: Then we see the spirit speak (verse 17) TRUE!

BUT NOTE AGAIN – THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKS – AN “IT” LIKE AN IMPERSONAL FORCE - CAN NOT SPEAK!!!

SEVEN: Then we see the bride speak (verse 17) TRUE!

THE BRIDE REFERRED TO HERE IS THE CHURCH “GOD’S” FOLLOWERS. THAT IS “CHRISTIANS.”

EIGHT: Then we see Jesus speak (verse 18-20) NOT TRUE!!

THE SPRIT IS SPEAKING HERE. AND SPIRIT IS WARNING US ABOUT ADDING TO & TAKING AWAY FROM THE WORD OF GOD. & THE SPIRIT TELLS US THAT THE ONE WHO TESTIFIES TO THESE THINGS IS “COMING SOON.”

NINE: Finally, we see the apostle John again speak (verses 20-21) TRUE!

So we see that the final chapter of Revelation has at least nine different instances of ones interjecting comments.

{NOT TRUE: THERE IS ONLY (1) ANGEL; (2) JESUS; (3) SPIRIT & THE BRIDE SPEAK TOGETHER IN VERSES 17-20;   (4) JOHN CLOSES THE BOOK OF REVELATION. THAT IS (5) IN TOTAL IF WE SEPARATE THE SPIRIT & THE BRIDE.}

 So to be dogmatic and say that the one speaking in verse 13 is Jesus is rash.

{LET’S NOT BE DOGMATIC, BUT ASK OUR SELVES - WHO IS THE “ONE” THAT IS “COMING?” – THE ANSWER IS JESUS!}

SO LETS BE "BLUNT" & SAY THAT JESUS IS JEHOVAH WHO IS COMING AS PER VERSE 12 & 13

Why? For if we are to say that Jesus is speaking in verse 12, then we can equally say that it was the angel that was speaking in verse 13, for verses 8 & 9 identify the one who was speaking prior to verse 13 as the angel.

NOW WE WILL BE DOGMATIC & SAY THIS IS “ALLUSION” IN THE AUTHOR’S OPINION & NOT WHAT IS BEING SAID IN THE WORD OF GOD!}

SORRY FOLKS - BUT ANY ONE WHO TRIES EVER SO HARD TO MAKE A MOCKERY OF GODS WORD & THEY TRY TO TELL GOD THAT HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT & WHO HE IS. THEN THAT PERSON IS HAVING "ALLUSIONS."

{IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME – THEN IN ACTS 1:11 WE READ:” MEN OF GALILEE, THEY SAID, ‘WHY DO YOU STAND HERE LOOKING INTO THE SKY? THIS SAME JESUS,WHO HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM YOU INTO HEAVEN,WILL COME BACK IN THE SAME WAYYOU HAVE SEEN HIM GO INTO HEAVEN.’”}

JESUS!THIS THE SAME ONE AS THE ONE “WHO WAS, AND WHO IS TO COME. ALL THE SAME PERSON!

This interesting phrase as recorded at Revelation 1:8 is really paramount to our discovery of just whether or not, Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega. The Greek word translated "The One who is" is "ho on." This word literally means "The Being, or The Existing One." Is Jesus the "ho on?"

{IF HE IS NOT, THEN WE HAVE A PROBLEM AGAIN AS THAT WOULD MAKE JESUS A LIAR & WE KNOW THAT HE IS NOT.}

Well from our discussion of John 8:58, we can say emphatically NO! For at Exodus 3:14, we read the words or Title (as recorded in the LXX) as "ego eimi ho on" or "I AM THE BEING," and NOT the words or title, "ego eimi ho ego eimi," or "I AM THE I AM." Also, the phrase I AM THAT I AM, does NOT mean that God is "THAT I AM," and nor does it imply that God IS the I AM. The phrase I AM THAT I AM is not what the Hebrew words at Exodus 3:14 accurately mean. The
more accurate translation of the Hebrew 'Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh' is "I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE,"

{I HAVE TO BUTT IN HERE AGAIN: FIRST OF ALL THIS PASSAGE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH REVELATION PASSAGE.

SECOND – GOD DOES KNOW WHO HE IS & HE IS I AM WHO I AM” – EVEN “I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE WOULD PASS. DOES GOD NEED TO PROVE ANYTHING TO ANYONE - IN REFERENCE TO WHO HE IS??”}

Or "I SHALL PROVE TO BE WHAT IS SHALL PROVE TO BE." This term has reference to what   would become to his people, that he was now entering into a covenant with.

{NOT SO: GOD HAS NOTHING TO “PROVE” TO ANY HUMAN BEING. THIS WAS A MISTRANSLATION BY WT SO THAT IT DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO JOHN 8:58.- THIS TERM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH -"WHAT WILL BECAME OF HIS PEOPLE EITHER. THIS TITLE REEFERS TO GODS NAME!!}

In addition, the words uttered by Jesus at John 8:58 were NOT "ho on" but rather, "ego eimi." Thus Jesus made NO claim whatsoever to Exodus 3:14. Period.

YES HE DID! JEWS KNEW WHO JESUS WAS REFERRING TO – BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO STONE HIM.

THEY HAD ONLY ONE REASON FOR STONING HIM & THAT WAS FOR BLASPHEMY. JESUS DIDN’T SAY, “I WAS” – BUT “I AM” EXPRESSING THE ETERNITY OF HIS BEING & HIS ONENESS WITH THE FATHER. SEE JOHN 1:1

IN VERSE 12 OF JOHN 8 WE READ “I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. WHO EVER FOLLOWS ME WILL NEVER WALK IN THE DARKNESS, BUT WILL HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE.”

So we conclude that the term "ho on" or "The Being," as based on the above, is never claimed, or spoken by Jesus. For Revelation 1:18, hardly uses the name Jesus now does it?

But how can we be absolutely sure that Jesus is NOT the "ho on," or "the One who is" of Revelation 1:8? Well, we are going
to do what this page is famous for, we are going to let the Bible interpret itself.

WE ONLY WISH. YES I AM HARSH HERE, BUT WE DO NOT HAVE ANY CHOICE. IF WE ALLOWED THE BIBLE TO “INTERPRET” ITS SELF WE WOULDN’T BE HERE – WOULD WE?

Let us look at Revelation 1:4 for further absolute iron  clad proof that Jesus is NOT the Alpha and the  omega, and "the One who is." There we read: "John to the seven congregations that are in the [district of] Asia: May YOU have undeserved kindness {GRACE} and peace from "The One who is and who was and who is coming," and from the seven spirits that are before his throne." Let us analyze this passage in some depth. PLEASE NOTE AGAIN; WHO IS “COMING?” JESUS OF COURSE!

Notice first that John "sends greetings to the seven congregations that are in the district of Asia." This shows that this vision that he would receive, was to be read throughout all the congregations. But from whom does John then send greetings?

 Notice that these greetings first come from "The One who is and who was and who is coming." Who is this? It is the very same individual spoken of at Revelation 1:8. How can we say that? Because it is the same Greek Title as applied to Jehovah God, the "One who is," the "ho on." Yes, it is Jehovah God, the God and Father of Jesus, who is the "One who is", the "ho on," who sends his greetings.

THE PHRASE “WHO IS & WHO WAS & WHO IS TO COME” IS A PARAPHRASE OF EXODUS 3:14. NOTE THE 3 NAMES THAT HAVE BEEN ALLOCATED TO JESUS:

THIS 3 NAMES DESCRIBE JESUS’ FULNESS OF HIS WORKS FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END.

AGAIN 3 TITLES! INTERESTING THIS NUMBER 3 HEY!

IT REPRESENTS THE “DIVINE COMPLETENESS” THE FATHER – THE SON & THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Next, we see that John sends the greeting of: " the seven spirits that are before his throne." Here, the greetings being sent are spoken of as "spirits." These actually show the fullness, of the operation of God’s active force, or holy spirit, as it is used to bring understanding to all who pay attention to this prophecy.

ACTIVE FORCE LIKE A RADAR BEAM DOES NOT SPEAK – WHILE HOLY SPIRIT DOES.

But does John stop there? No. Let us peruse verse 5, the very next verse shall we?

Of whom does Revelation 1:5 speak with regard to the sending of greetings? It reads: "and from Jesus Christ, "the Faithful Witness," "The firstborn from the dead," and "The Ruler of the kings of the earth."

So then, who next sends their greetings? It is none other than Jesus Christ himself! He being the one who is the "firstborn from the dead (Rev. 1:17,18; 2:8) and the "Ruler of the kings of the earth." OK – LET’S GET THIS INTO PERSPECTIVE AGAIN.

IN VERSE 4 WE HAVE 3 NAMES FOR JESUS & IN VERSE 5 WE ARE GIVE 3 (YES 3 AGAIN) NAMES FOR JESUS AGAIN:

JESUS IS REFERRED TO AS THE

(1) FAITHFUL WITNESS i.e.. HE TELLS US THE “TRUTH” & NOT LIES –

(2) THE FIRST BORN FROM THE DEAD i.e.. THE FIRST ONE TO LIVE FOREVER AFTER BEING RAISED FROM THE GRAVE. UNLIKE OTHERS WHO WERE RAISED FROM THE DEAD, THEY ALL DIED OF PHYSICAL DEATH AGAIN.

(3) RULER OF THE KINGS OF THE EARTH i.e.. RULER & KING OF EVERY PERSON THAT LIVES ON EARTH (Philippians 2:10-11).

But of what significance is this?

Well, from God's own inspired word, we see that Jesus is NOT the "ho on" or "The One who is," of Revelation 1:8, the Alpha and the Omega, the Almighty! Nor CAN HE BE! Remember, it is in verse 4 that "The One who is" ("ho on") sends his greetings! The very same "the One who is"  ("ho on") of Revelation 1:8!

IT’S ALL THE SAME PERSON, BUT HE IS GIVEN DIFFERENT TITLES.

JESUS IN EFFECT HAS MANY TITLES – WORD – LIGHT OF THE WORLD – BREAD OF LIFE – ETERNAL FATHER – MIGHTY GOD – PRINCE OF PEACE – LIFE OF THE WORLD – LOGOS – ETC.

YES HE IS!  IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGE THERE ARE DIFFERENT WORDS THAT DENOTE THE SAME MEANING IN ENGLISH.

English language has many flaws in grammar & word contents when compared  to other languages. So we are faced with debates like this one, because  some do not understand that & then they try to MAKE THINGS FIT IN TO  THEIR TEACHING.

Thus Jesus is NOT the "ho on," "the One Who Is." The Alpha and the Omega  is the "ho on," "the One who is." Thus Jesus is NOT the ALPHA and the  OMEGA.

IF HE IS NOT, THEN HE IS A LIAR AS HE IS USING THE PHRASE TO REFER TO HIMSELF. HE DOES NOT LIE NOR DENY HIMSELF. ONLY MAN HAS & WILL CONTINUE TO DENY HIM AS THAT MAN DOES NOT HAVE HIM RESIDING IN HIS HEART.

DO YOU HAVE JESUS RESIDING IN YOUR HEART?

Next: The Almighty.

As we discussed at length in Isaiah 9:6, Jesus is not called the "Almighty God" (Hebrew "El Shaddai") but rather the "Mighty God (Hebrew "El Gibbohr"). Thus the term "the Almighty" (Greek "pantokrator") is limited in it's application in scripture to only Jehovah God. Jesus therefore, cannot be the one referred to as "the Almighty" at Revelation 1:8. We also give attention to the fact that nowhere in the Bible is Jesus referred to as "the Almighty." This conclusion can also be arrived at from the above discussions of both the terms "Alpha and Omega" and "the One who is" ("ho on").

FIRST OF ALL, NO ONE HAS SEEN NOR HEARD THE FATHER. SECONDLY – JESUS WOULD BE LIAR IF IT WASN’T SO. AS JESUS APPLIES THE WORDS TO HIMSELF.

WHO DO YOU BELIEVE, JESUS WHO IS YOUR “FINAL” JUDGE. REMEMBER YOU WILL BE BOWING DOWN IN FRONT OF “HIS FEET” & YOU WILL BE TELLING HIM THAT YOU HAVE FOLLOWED HIM OR MAN.

YOU CAN NOT LIE TO GOD AS GOD KNOWS YOUR “HEART” CONDITION TOWARDS HIM.

We can therefore rightfully conclude that just as Jesus is NOT the "ho on" of Revelation 1:4, he also is NOT the "ho on" of verse 8, and neither is he the Almighty. We also see that Jesus cannot be the "Alpha and the Omega," for the very one who IS the "Alpha and the Omega," is ALSO the "ho on." And Revelation 1:4 proves Jesus is NOT the "ho on."

ARE “YOU” SURE OF THAT?

WILL YOU BELIEVE THE WORDS OF “YOUR FINAL JUDGE” OR SOME “UNINSPIRED MEN?”  THE CHOICE IS YOURS!

Some might look at the above scripture and say "Why is this scripture here?" How could this be  used by anyone who wishes to believe the trinity, as evidence of their stance? Well, it is because of the way the King James Bible translates this verse as we read below:

HENCE 7 DAYS IN THE WEEK - ON THE 7TH DAY GOD RESTED FROM HIS CREATION & NOT FROM HIS LOVE & CARING FOR HIS PEOPLE!!

"Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea."

We notice the stark difference between the King James as translated above and the NWT. The main obvious difference is the addition of the words " "Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last" Why the difference? Were these words in the original Greek manuscripts penned by the apostle John? Do all translations add these words as recorded in the King James?

THAT IS CORRECT FOLKS - BUT AGAIN - THIS VERSE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR DISCUSSION - WE ARE NOT DISCUSSING DISCREPANCY OF GREEK ETC. EVEN THOUGH THESE WORDS WERE ADDED IN TO KJV - THEY DO NOT "ALTER" THE MEANING OF WHAT  BIBLE IS TELLING US LIKE NWT  IS!

WHY DOES NWT "ALTER" THE MEANING OF THE WORD LORD TO JEHOVAH - WHY DOES NWT INSERT" WORD "OTHER" -"BY" [REV, 3:14] ETC?

BECAUSE THESE WORDS ALTER THE GODS WORD TO WT TEACHING & NOT WHAT GOD IS TELLING US.

The answers are as follows: The words "Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last," are NOT in some of the oldest Greek manuscripts, and are regarded as the work of an over zealous scribe who added these words to the text, in an attempt to try to promote the concept that Jesus was indeed the Alpha and the Omega. Some of the manuscripts that do not include these words are the Sinaitic, Alexandrine, and Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus. These words, therefore, are purposely omitted in
many modern translations, as they are not reliable, inspired words, originally penned by the apostle John.

What other translations are similar to the King James? Well just a few. Primarily those that are related to the Authorized Version (KJ). These include the Living Bible ("I am the A and Z"), The Amplified New Testament, and Young's Literal Translation of the Bible. However, the modern and even older translations of the Bible, like the NIV, NASB, RSV, JB, TEV, PME, NWT, RSV, all omit these words.

THAT IS TRUE = THAT IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I USED NIV, LIVING APPLICATION, NRSV BIBLES IN MY CITATIONS.

Thus again the trinity doctrine is found nowhere in the Bible. Nor is there any evidence that Jesus is Jehovah God.

Here is a scripture that some have difficulty with. Why? Well because  from a trinitarian stand point, it is extremely difficult to say that Jesus had a beginning IF he is indeed the creator, the one from eternity!

{FIRST OF - THE AUTHOR TOLD US IN THE ABOVE PASSAGE THAT JESUS IS THE CREATOR - BUT NOW HE TELLS US "IF" HE IS THE CREATOR. HMMMMM  == BUT -YES HE IS, UNLESS HE IS A LIAR & WE KNOW THAT HE IS NOT.}

Thus, they try to say that the Greek word from which the English word "beginning" is translated from, means "beginner," or "ruler." Thus, again attempting to establish Jesus as the origin, or originator, or sole creator of the universe. Is this the case? Is Jesus the "beginner" of the creation by God?

NO – NO – WE SAY THAT WT. HAS “ALTERED THE WORD OF GOD, BY CHANGING & TAKING AWAY WORDS THAT ARE THERE & THEN INSERTING WORDS THAT ARE NOT THERE.

A SLY MOVE OF THE PEN BY WT TRANSLATING COMMITTEE HAS TAKEN AWAY THE WORD “OF” & INSERTED THE WORD “BY” SO TO “COMPLETELY CHANGE THE MEANING OF THE PASSAGE.

JESUS IS THE “RULER ‘OF’ GOD’S CREATION” & NOT RULER “BY” GOD’S CREATION. SEE THE DIFFERENCE NOW?

THE WORD BEGINNING DOESN'T EVEN COME IN TO PLAY HERE!!

Well let's just think about that for a moment. Let us just say that, "YES," trinitarians are correct.  Jesus IS the "beginner, or ruler of the creation by God." Or is the "beginner of God's creation," as the Revised Standard Version would put it. Does this mean that Jesus is the creator? {YES HE IS, HE TELLS US THAT HE IS} Hardly. It simply would mean that Jesus is the beginner, or ruler, of "SOMEONE ELSE'S" creation, namely God's. See, in order to be the beginner, or ruler, of GOD's
CREATION, this would simply indicate his role as chief agent or instrument by which GOD created, or the ruler of that creation, and not God himself {NOT TRUE}  For it is "God's creation" {TRUE – THAT IS JESUS OF COURSE} Not his own. Just because someone is the "beginner" of a race, does not mean that the race is his! He simply is the one who began
it, others follow, or run in it with him, however it is NOT his own race, it is someone else's! Just as it is NOT Jesus' creation, but God's. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING THE “BEGINNER” OF A RACE JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE IN IT.

THIS HAS TO DO WITH BEING THE “BEGINNER” OF THE RACE “BY” ACTUALLY BEING THE “ONE” WHO HAS “ORGANIZED OR ORIGINATED ” THE EVENT.

JESUS IS THE “ORIGINATOR” OF THE CREATION. HE IS THE “ONE” WHO BEGAN IT & FINISHED IT.

But some say, no, no, the word that is translated "beginning" means "originator," or "first cause." Well is this the case? Does this word mean "originator," or "first cause?" Let us look into this at length. REMEMBER THE WORD IN DISCUSSION SHOULD BE “OF” & “BY.”

The Greek word translated "beginning" is "arche." The phrase that follows is "tes ktiseos," meaning  Literally "of the creation." Both these words "tes and ktiseos" are in the genitive case. The use of this case simply denotes "of the origin of," or "of possession," [with relation to the subject] or "chiefly expressing possession."

PLEASE RE READ THIS PASSAGE VERY CAREFULLY & SEE THE SAD SIDE TO IT. NOT WHAT THE WORD MEANS “LITERALLY.” THE PRIME MOVER, THE BEGINNER, THE ORIGINATOR.

NOTE THE HIGHLIGHTED WORDS "BEGINNING "OF" THE CREATION - WITH THE RELATION TO THE SUBJECT WHICH IS - JESUS.

THEREFORE - THE SUBJECT "JESUS" IS THE "BEGINNER OF THE CREATION" - HMMMMM  INTERESTING ISN'T IT??

Now, "arche" by itself means "a beginning, that by which anything begins to be, first cause, origin." Thus we see that it most certainly can be translated as "beginning."

{THEN IT “MUST BE” TRANSLATED AS SUCH, BUT WE HAVE TO CHANGE THAT ALSO AS IT DOES NOT FIT OUR TEACHING.
IF WE ADMIT TO THE “TRUTH” THEN WE HAVE TO ADMIT THAT THE “ENTIRE” WEB PAGE IS WRONG.} LETS FACE IT - "IF" THIS AUTHOR WAS TO US HIS OWN MEANINGS THEN WE HAVE THIS:

THE SUBJECT IS JESUS - WHO IS THE FIRST CAUSE  OF THE CREATION!! SO EASY HEY!~!

However, some say that it can also have the meaning of "first cause," or "origin." {THIS IS  EXACTLY AS THE AUTHOR TELLS US IN THE LAST SENTENCE - DO FEEL LIKE THERE IS A CHANGE COMING ON?? }  (This suggested meaning of "arche" as "first cause" is from The Greek Lexicon of Bauer, Arndt, and Gingrich pages 111-112, who also show no scriptural evidence to support "arche" as meaning "first cause," but who next went on to say [arche means] "beginning = first created is linguistically possible.") So then we ask, just because some say it can mean "origin, or "first cause," does this indicate that Jesus is the actual author or sole source of creation. The answer is NO, {LOL, SORRY FOLKS BUT THIS IS SO FUNNY} for the creation is NOT called "Jesus' creation," but rather "God's creation."

REMEMBER THE WORDS ABOVE - "RELATING TO THE SUBJECT"????  BUT NOW WE HAVE BACK FLIPPED ON OUR OWN MEANING OF WORDS - INTERESTING IDEA AGAIN!!

Thus, even if we chose to translate Revelation 3:14 as "The origin, or first cause of God's creation," it still tells us that Jesus is NOT the actual author of Creation, but it is God's creation!

{JOHN 1:3 TELLS US THAT IT IS JESUS’ CREATION, BUT WORD OF GOD IS WRONG AGAIN}

Why is this?     LET’S SEE!

It is because of the use of the Greek words "tes ktiseos," meaning "of the creation," {NOTE THAT IT IS “OF” CREATION & NOT “BY” CREATION}  the genitive case (pertaining to  possession of the subject, arche in this
verse) which we find after the Greek word "arche" meaning "beginning." {THAT’S CORRECT “BEGINNING.”}Thus we need to analyze phrases similar to " he arche  tes ktiseos" (the beginning of creation) that incorporate "arche" with a genitive, and not the term "arche" (beginning) by itself to arrive at the Bible's proper understanding of this verse. And what do
these words mean elsewhere in the Bible when they are used?

{ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO GO ANY FURTHER, BUT AS IT DOES NOT FIT EVEN THE AUTHOR’S OWN WORDS FROM HIS OWN RESEARCH. WE AGAIN HAVE TO GO ELSE WHERE TO PROVE EVEN HIMSELF WRONG.}

The first instance we will look at is found at John 2:11 where we read:- BUT WE ARE DISCUSSION REVELATION 3:14 & NOT JOHN!!

"Jesus performed this in Ca'na of Gal'i·lee as [the] beginning of his signs, and he made his glory manifest; and his disciples put their faith in him." Here we see "arche tes" used, as the "beginning of" [Jesus] signs. These signs were the direct result of Jesus' work.  T

HIS IS THE “FIRST” OF JESUS “WORKS.” SO OF COURSE WE ARE GOING TO USE THE WORD “FIRST.” WE ALSO “MUST” UNDERSTAND THE CONTEXT OF JESUS FIRST WORKS HERE.

THIS IS “JESUS FIRST WORKS IN THE FLESH” & NOT “FROM” HIS SPIRITUAL “WORKS OF CREATING THE HEAVENS & EARTH.

 AS JESUS WAS READY TO START HIS MINISTRY “IN HUMAN” FLESH – THIS WAS HIS “FIRST” WORKS OF THE HUMAN JESUS & NOT HIS “PRE-EXISTENCE” IN THE “SPIRIT FORM.”

TOTALLY TWO DIFFERENT THINGS: THE CREATION OF THE HEAVENS & EARTH WAS PERFORMED IN THE “SPIRIT” FORM & THE TRANSFORMING THE WATER INTO THE WINE WAS “FIRST” WORKS IF THE FLESH.

Let us look at Matthew 24:8: "All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress." Here we see "arche" used with a genitive expression just as in Revelation 3:14, translated as the "beginning of" the pangs of distress. Yes, these were the start of the pangs, not the originator or beginner of the pangs. The pangs were the result of the time frame that Jesus is speaking about.

WELL ACTUALLY THEY ARE! THESE PANGS ARE THE “FIRST” SIGNS OR ORIGINS OF THE LAST DAYS. DIFFERENT SUBJECT & DIFFERENT ORIGIN OR FIRST OF SOMETHING NEW. BUT - WHO IS THE ORIGINATOR OF THESE FIRS PANGS ????  JESUS RIGHT!!
   Lets look at Mark 1:1: "[The] beginning of the good news about Jesus Christ." Here we see the beginning of the good news. Here we see "arche tes" is used as the result of Jesus ministry on earth.

NOT AS THE RESULT OF, BUT THE “BEGINNING OF” JESUS’ MINISTRY ACCORDING TO THE GOSPEL OF MARK.
 AGAIN DIFFERENT BEGINNING & SUBJECT, ALSO DIFFERENT AUTHOR. NOT RELATED TO REVELATION 3:14 AT ALL.

Let's look at Mark 10:6: "However, from [the] beginning of creation 'He made them male and female." Here we see "from the beginning of creation," indicating "arche tes" is used as the result of God's creation of both male and female. TRUE, JESUS

CREATED THEM MALE & FEMALE & NOT TWO MALES AND TWO FEMALES.

OK – NOW WE ARE RIGHT ON THE BUTTON, AS THIS BEGINNING IS REFERRING TO JESUS’ BEING THE ORIGINATOR OF THE CREATION, JUST AS THE REVELATION 3:14 IS TELLING US.

JESUS IS THE RULER OF GOD’S CREATION AS HE IS THE ONE WHO CREATED IT.

Looking at Mark 13:8, we read: "For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, there will be earthquakes in one place after another, there will be food shortages. These are a beginning of pangs of distress." Here we see "arche" used with a genitive expression again, just as in Revelation 3:14, and Matthew 24:8, and is translated as the "beginning of"

{NOTE BEGINNINGS “OF” & NOT BY -IT IS SO EASY WHEN AUTHORS OWN WORDS CONDEMN HIM - HEY!!- ACTUALLY THIS IS SO SAD - THAT A PERSON CAN WRITE THE WORDS HIMSELF / HERSELF & THEN DO A BACK FLIP ON EVERYTHING THEY HAVE JUST WRITTEN}

THE SAME TRANSLATION SHOULD THEN BE IN REVELATION 3:14 SHOULDN'T IT??

the pangs of distress. Yes, these were the start of the pangs, not the originator or beginner of the pangs. The pangs were the result of the time frame that Jesus is speaking about.

WHAT JESUS IS TALKING ABOUT IS THE “ORIGIN” OF THE SIGN OF TIMES WHEN THE END WILL BE NEAR & “NOT” THE PANGS THEMSELVES. AS USUAL THE AUTHOR IS “CONFUSING” TOTALLY “UNRELATED” SUBJECTS.

THERE ARE TWO THINGS HERE (1) SIGN OF TIMES – THAT JESUS IS TALKING ABOUT & (2) THE PANGS THEMSELVES.

Looking at Mark 13:19, we read: "for those days will be [days of] a tribulation such as has not occurred from [the] beginning of the creation which God created [WHO CREATED?] until that time, and will not occur again." Here we see "arche" used with a genitive expression just as in  Revelation 3:14, translated as the "beginning of" the creation which God created. Here again, we see "arche" is used as the result of God's creation of man.

JUST USE THE AUTHORS OWN WORDS & RE READ THE "CORRECT"  READING OF REVELATION PASSAGE PLEASE?

John 13:9 as it is in NIV: “BECAUSE THOSE WILL BE DAYS OF DISTRESS UNEQUALLED FROM THE BEGINNING WHEN ‘GOD CREATED THE WORLD’, UNTIL NOW – AND NEVER TO BE EQUALLED AGAIN.”

I WILL ONLY SAY THIS – NOTE THAT “GOD CREATED” THE WORLD  – IN JOHN 1: 3 WE READ THAT THIS WAS DONE BY JESUS.

And finally at Hebrews 7:3, we read: "In being fatherless, motherless, without genealogy, having neither a beginning of days nor an end of life, but having been made like the Son of God, he remains a priest perpetually." Here, once again, we see "arche" used with a genitive expression just as in Revelation 3:14, and here translated as the "beginning of" days. Here again, we see "arche" is used as the result of a start to life.

 THIS IS A BIG ONE AGAIN – PLEASE READ THE “WHOLE” PASSAGE AS IT TALKS ABOUT “MELCHIZEDEK.”

AND I WILL CITE  IT FROM NIV:

 “WITHOUT FATHER OR MOTHER, WITHOUT GENEALOGY, “WITHOUT BEGINNING” LIKE THE “SON OF GOD” {Jesus} HEREMAINED A PRIEST FOREVER.”

 PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PASSAGE IS TELLING US THAT “MELCHIZEDEK” IS LIKE “JESUS” {SON OF GOD} – WITHOUT BEGINNING!! INTERESTING ISN’T IT!!

THE AUTHOR WROTE THE WORDS - YET HE / SHE CAN NOT SEE WHAT HE /SHE WROTE!!

So when we find other uses of the term "arche tes," or "arche" with the genitive, Do these indicate the cause of an action? Or does "arche tes" indicate an end result of someone else's action? At all the instances above where the term "arche tes" appears with the genitive, it is used as the "end result of someone or something else's actions."

Remember the words found at John 2:11, tell us that Jesus' changing the water into wine at Cana, was the first, or start, of Jesus' miracles. The prophecy at Mark 13:8, tell us about the wars, earthquakes and other signs, that would mark the start of, or beginning of, the pangs of distress. The other examples as well, all show the start of, or beginning of, certain things.

ALL OF THESE ARE “NEW” EVENTS & EACH “NEW” EVENT HAS A “NEW BEGINNING” –
SO THERE IS NOTHING NEW TO THAT = EXCEPT “UNDERSTANDING” OF WHAT IS
BEING “TALKED” ABOUT & THEN SEEING THE BIGGER PICTURE.

 Thus at Revelation 3:14, Jesus is spoken of as being the beginning of God's creation. That is, Jesus is the direct result of God's creation.

Just as the "beginning of" the signs of Jesus WERE SIGNS! Just as the "beginning of" the pangs of distress" WERE PANGS OF DISTRESS! And just as the "beginning of" the good news" WAS GOOD NEWS, so too, the "beginning of" God's creation, Jesus, IS OF GOD'S CREATION!!!

NOT AT ALL – ALL OF THESE EVENTS ARE “NEW” THINGS IN THE PLAN OF GOD & THEY CAN NOT BE COMPARED TO THE “ORIGINAL” EVENT THAT “JESUS” CREATED IN THE BEGINNING.
 

Revelation 21:6 {PLEASE READ ON – AS I WOULD LIKE YOU TO SEE THE WHOLE PASSAGE & THEN COMPARE IT TO WHAT THE BIBLE ACTUALLY SAYS.}

"And he said to me: "They have come to pass! I am the Al'pha and the O·me'ga, the beginning and the end. To anyone thirsting I will give from the fountain of the water of life free." {See John 4:13-14}

This verse is similar to Revelation 1:8 discussed above. Again trinitarians would lead us to believe that Jesus is indeed the one
speaking. But this simply is not the case.......again. How can we say so? By simply reading the surrounding verses.

Please see verse 5 of chapter 21 which reads: {But we are discussing Rev. 1:8 & NOT 21:5} "And the One seated on the throne said: "Look! I am making all things new." Also, he says: "Write, because these words are faithful and true." Who is speaking? It is the One seated on the throne. And who is that? Revelation 4:2-11 identify that one as none other than
Jehovah God.  We can be certain that it is indeed the one seated on the throne that is speaking, for verse 6 starts off by saying: "And he (the one seated on the Throne, verse 5) said to me (John )...."

We also notice the words spoken in verse 7 which say: "Anyone conquering will inherit these things, and I shall be his God and he will be my son." Yes, it is Jehovah God that holds out the opportunity for ones to conquer, and for him to be their God. He also call these conquerors his "sons." Jesus NOWHERE in the Bible ever suggests to have others address him as their God, and he NEVER promised to call his followers sons. Rather we recall to mind Jesus' words at John 15:15 where he said: "I no
longer call YOU slaves, because a slave does not know what his master does. But I have called YOU friends, because all the things I have heard from my Father I have made known to YOU." {This has nothing to do with
Revelation 1:8. It is totally different subject.}

Here we see at John 15:15, those that follow Jesus into heaven are called "friends" by Jesus, and not "sons." Jesus nowhere gave his disciples the command to worship him as their God. Because He wasn’t meant to.

We are TO OBEY JESUS’ WORDS BY “FAITH” ONLY. WHEN WE READ THE  “WHOLE” BIBLE – THEN & ONLY THEN CAN WE SEE THE “WHOLE” PICTURE & NOT BY GOING HERE & THERE TO “UNRELATED” PASSAGES IN THE BIBLE SO TO MAKE  THINGS FIT OUR OWN TEACHING.

WHOSE NAME DOES JESUS HAVE? JOHN 17: 11-12 - WHO ARE WE TO HONOUR IF WE WANT TO BE HONOURED BY JESUS FATHER? JOHN 5: 22- 23 & 12: 26!!

Rather than have ones worship him as their God, Jesus said at Revelation 3:12: "'The one that conquers - I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will by no means go out [from it] anymore, and I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which descends out of heaven from my God, and that new name of mine."

Jesus here at Revelation 3:12 made it plain and undeniable, that ones that are faithful unto death and are resurrected to heaven, will worship SEE LAST STATEMENT PLEASE?] the same God and Father of Jesus, whom Jesus still worships in heaven. These ones will have the name of Jesus' God and Father upon their foreheads!

SO TRUE = HERE JESUS IS GIVING HIS FATHER “DUE” RESPECT & HONOUR, JUST AS THE SON SHOULD DO.

NOTE THAT THIS PASSAGE TELLS US THAT “ONES” THAT ARE FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH WILL BE RESURRECTED TO “HEAVEN” & “NOT” EARTH.

ARE YOU FAITHFUL TO GOD OR TO AN ORGANIZATION??

JESUS – CLEARLY STATES THAT WE SHOULD BE FAITHFUL TO “GOD” & “NO ONE ELSE.”

JESUS DOES NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT LIVING ON EARTH – BUT – HEAVEN IS THE PLACE WHERE THE FAITHFUL ONES WILL END UP.

Thus Jesus is NOT the Alpha and the Omega. For these ones worship the same God and Father that Jesus has while he is in heaven, Jehovah. (Revelation 3:12; Micah 5:4)

PLEASE RE READ THE PASSAGE VERY CAREFULLY AGAIN?

YOU CAN SEE CLEARLY THAT THERE IS NO god THAT CREATED THE HEAVENS &EARTH & EVERYTHING IN IT.

IT WAS “ONE & THE SAME GOD” IN JEREMIAH AS IS IN JOHN. OTHERWISE JESUS IS FALSE ‘god’ & NOT Son of God THE CREATOR OF US & THE UNIVERSE, AS THESE TWO PASSAGES TELL US.
