"Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things
in your law" (Psalm 119:18) When Spirit of Truth Comes In To Your Life
He Will Lead You to ALL the Truth." (John 16: 13)

Some notes and comments on various Biblical texts some have used to promote the doctrine of the Trinity. The main approach that will be used to arrive at a proper balanced view of these texts is based on the FACT that the Bible interprets itself.
AS THE ABOVE STATEMENT SAYS =
WE WILL LITERALLY BE DOING EXACTLY THAT - THERE WILL BE SO MUCH BIBLE CITED
SO THAT YOU CAN GET THE BIG
PICTURE OF WHAT GOD'S
WORD IS REALLY SAYING.
Micah 5:2
"And you, O Beth'le·hem Eph'ra·thah, the one too little to get to be among the thousands of Judah, from you there will come out to me the one who is to become ruler in Israel, whose origin is from early times, from the days of time indefinite."
This verse is dealing with the prophetic birth of Jesus. Some say that here Jesus is identified as having "no beginning." This is because they understand the Hebrew word translated "from the days of time indefinite" to mean "from eternity." Is this a Bible based line of thought? Lets explore this.
Here WE GO AGAIN DEAR READERS "SOME SAY" - ITS NOT WHAT SOME SAY BUT THE WORD OF GOD "TELLS US" THE ABOVE STATEMENT IS SO CLEAR & PLAIN BUT WE HAVE TO READ SOMETHING ELSE IN TO IT AGAIN!!!!!
THE WORD IS TRANSLATED IN KJV AS "FROM EVERLASTING" LETS LOOK AT THE VERSES FROM KJV:
"BUT THOU, BETH-LEHEM EPHRATAH, THOUGH BE LITTLE AMONG THE THOUSANDS OF JUDAH, YET OUT OF THEE SHALL HE COME FORTH UNTO ME THAT IS TO BE RULER IN ISRAEL; WHOSE GOINGS FIRTH HEAVE BEEN FROM OF OLD, FROM EVERLASTING."
AS IT IS IN NIV: "BUT YOU, BETHLEHEM EPHRATAH, THOUGH YOU ARE SMALL AMONG THE CLANS OF JUDAH, OUT OF YOU WILL COME FOR ME ONE WHO WILL BE RULER OVER ISRAEL, WHOSE GOINGS ARE FROM OLD, FROM ANCIENT TIMES."
NIV HAS NOTE "o" TO THE ANCIENT TIMES WHICH READS LIKE THIS " OR FROM DAYS OF ETERNITY"
LETS SEE HOW THE LIFE APPLICATION STUDY BIBLE RENDERS THIS VERSE ALSO:
"BUT FROM YOU, O BETHLEHEM EPHRATHAH, ARE ONLY SMALL VILLAGE IN JUDAH. YET A RULER OF ISRAEL WILL COME FROM YOU, ONE WHOSE ORIGINS ARE FROM DISTANT PAST."
NOTE ON IT RUNS LIKE THIS:
THIS RULER IS JESUS, THE MESSIAH. MICAH ACCURATELY PREDICTED CHRIST'S BIRTH PLACE HUNDREDS OF YEARS BEFORE JESUS WAS BORN.
THE PROMISED "ETERNAL" KING DAVID'S LINE, WHO WOULD COME TO LIVE AS A MAN, HAD BEEN ALIVE FOREVER - 'WHOSE ORIGINS ARE FROM THE DISTANT PAST.
'ALTHOUGH 'ETERNAL,' CHRIST ENTERED HUMAN HISTORY AS A MAN, JESUS OF NAZARETH."
AS YOU CAN SEE = ALL 3 BIBLES AGREE THAT JESUS WAS FROM "ETERNITY" HE HAS NO BEGINNINGS LIKE YOU & I DO.
HE WAS AT NO TIME CREATED BEING AS HE IS THE ONE WHO HAS CREATED EVERYTHING. JOHN 1:3 - COLOSSINANS 1: 16
The Hebrew word here translated "from the days of time indefinite" is "olam." How do we understand the meaning of this word? We are going to do what every good Bible student should do, we are going to let the Bible interpret itself.
WISH THE AUTHOR WOULD DO THIS - WE WOULDN'T BE HERE?? SORRY FOLKS - I AM NOT BEING MEAN HERE - JUST THAT IT IS EXTREMELY ANNOYING WHEN PEOPLE SAY THAT THEY WILL ALLOW THE BIBLE TO INTERPRET ITSELF - AS PER 2 TIMOTHY 3: 16 - THEN WE WOULD TAKE GOD'S WORD AS IT IS WRITTEN & NOT TRY TO MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF IT THAT ISN'T THERE.
BEFORE WE GO & SEE ANY PASSAGE FROM THE WORD OF GOD
THERE IS A NEED TO SEE WHAT THE HEBREW INTERPRETERS SAY ABOUT IT IT IS NUMBERED 5769 IN VINES & IT APPEARS SOME 440 TIMES IN BIBLICAL HEBREW & IN ALL PERIODS
IT MEANS "ETERNITY, REMOTEST TIME, PERPETUITY". THIS WORD HAS COGNATES IN UGARITIS, MOABITE, PHOENICIAN, ARAMIC & AKKADIAN.
DEPENDING ON THE CONTEXT THAT IT IS USED IT IS TRANSLATED AS SUCH IN ENGLISH.
Lets look at other places where this word "olam" is used to understand it meaning. First we shall go to Daniel 12:2 which reads:
PLEASE REMEMBER THE CONTEXT.
"And there will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up, these to indefinitely lasting life and those to reproaches [and] to indefinitely lasting abhorrence."
THIS PASSAGE IS "NOT" RELATED TO MICAH - IT TALKS ABOUT TOTALLY DIFFERENT INCIDENCES!
Here "olam" is translated as "indefinitely lasting." What does this mean? Does it mean that those who are "resurrected" are from eternity? NO!! But, rather that they will live on for an undisclosed long period of time, "from the time of their being Resurrected!"
THIS IS SO TRUE BUT THERE IS NO OTHER WORD IN ENGLISH TO DESCRIBE THE "ETERNITY" OF LIVING FOR THOSE WHO WILL BE RAISED FROM DEATH.
IN THE MICAH PASSAGE THERE IS A SMALL WORD THAT IS USED & IS NOT USED HERE & THAT IS THE WORD "FROM" -
NOW WHEN WE SAY JESUS IS "FROM" ETERNITY - & THOSE WHO ARE RAISED "WILL HAVE" OR "AWAKE TO" ETERNITY
THERE IS A DIFFERENT MEANING THERE ISNT IT? AGAIN = FOLKS WE HAVE TO LOOK AT THE "BIGGER" PICTURE & NOT ALLUSIONS ON ONE WORD WHICH IS TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT.
Look at Habakkuk 3:6 where we read: "He stood still, that he might
shake up [the] earth. He saw, and then caused nations to leap. And the
eternal
mountains got to be smashed; the indefinitely lasting hills bowed down.
The walkings of long ago are
his."
Here, "olam" is used of the hills that are "indefinitely lasting." Now are the hills without beginning, from eternity? Of course not.
AS FAR AS WE HUMANS ARE CONCERNED THEY ARE FORM LONG AGO - - THEY WERE THERE WHEN YOU & I WERE BORN & THEY WILL BE THERE WHEN WE DIE. SO THEY ARE LONG LASTING & FROM LONG TIME BACK, BUT AGAIN THE CONTEXT IS IMPORTANT
TO SAY THAT THE CREATOR IS "FROM" ETERNITY & THEN COMPARE HIS CREATION
WHICH WILL BE EXISTING "FOR" ETERNITY IS COMPARING APPLES & ORANGES.
Also in Micah 5:2 we see the word origin translated into the English
from the Hebrew word "matsaoth." It literally means "origin" or
"springing." Here we see that Jesus indeed had an "origin or start" to
his life! This is in complete harmony with Jesus
own words at John 6:57 which say: "
..and I live because of the Father
"
Thus Jesus cannot be Jehovah who is the King of
Eternity! (1 Timothy 1:17)
OK FOLKS HERE WE GO AGAIN CONFUSING THE ISSUE LETS LOOK AT THE COMPLETE PHRASE "WHOSE GOINGS / ORIGIN IS FROM EVERLASTING"
THE WORD "ORIGIN" IS A DESCRIPTIVE WORD TELLING US THAT JESUS "ORIGIN / GOINGS" ARE FROM EVERLASTING.
THAT IS HIS
BEGINNING ARE FROM EVERLASTING. I KEEP
SAYING THAT WE CAN NOT "LOOK AT" ONE WORD & THEN
MAKE SOMETHING UP.
WE "MUST READ THE "WHOLE" PASSAGE & THE WHOLE BOOK TO GET THE MEANING.
