A number of Coffee Skaters taking private
lessons make use of the Figure Skating Sessions (Usually just
called "Figure Sessions") at Acacia Ridge. Figure
Sessions are used by the competitive skaters to practice their
routines, including jumps, and some of these skaters are very
fast. You need to watch carefully for other skaters during these
sessions. [Note: To attend
Figure Sessions you must be an ISQ member OR taking at
least one private lesson per week OR attending Skating
School (during current term only).]
Multiple entry cards are
available for Figure Sessions, and provide entry at a reduced
price. You must be a current ISQ member OR a current
Skating School member. Cards are non-refundable and
non-transferable but no longer have an expiry date. Conditions
change from time to time and we don't always find out about the
changes. Contact ISQ for current details and prices.
Times and prices for Figure Sessions are sometimes displayed on
the ISQ notice board (next to the Skate Hire counter). If not
there ask a staff member, your coach, or someone from the
Iceworld Figure Skating Club.
