Synapse Computers commenced trading on June 26, 1992, and originally the only computer type we
supported was Commodore's Amiga range. Our initial intentions were to provide every possible level
of support to Amiga owners - ranging from sales of hardware, software, and accessories, to repairs and
servicing, upgrading, etc. Right from the start we thought it was a great idea to take trade-ins, and
hence be able to offer second hand goods to those who couldn't afford new products. This service became
extremely popular!
The key to our successful approach was to listen to our customer's needs, and always react in a helpful,
positive manner to what our customers told us. Those who visit Synapse Computers never feel like
they're being "sold" to by a salesperson. We're just as happy to let someone browse as we are to assist them
in making a purchase.
Now-a-days, we've expanded our offerings, and are able to help with:
Amiga Hardware, Software, Accessories, Repairs, Upgrades, etc.
I.B.M. Compatible Hardware, Software, Accessories, Repairs, Upgrades, etc.
Internet Access and support for both Amiga and I.B.M. Compatible platforms.
Faxing, Scanning, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and Printing Services.
In fact, we strive to do just about anything for our customers, and if we can't directly help we
always try to refer our customer to a more suitable establishment for their needs.
Couple this approach with competitive prices, and the kind of old-fashioned after sales support
that sadly many of us have forgotten, and you can see why Synapse Computers is the regular
place of choice for many satisfied customers.
