NOTE: Sources are confused as to who was the original grantee of the Tu'iha'ateiho title. One source suggests, Pahihi, son of the 30th Tu'i Tonga, as the first of the line, but he seems to be chronologically too early to be the first title holder. A different source gives Paleinangalu as the first Tu'iha'ateiho, which is more plausible as both he and Fakatakatu'u were married to sisters. The latter's ancestry seems to be unknown, though of Fijian origin.
