  • Ali'i nui KALANIKE'EAUMOKUNUI, 1st Ali'i of Kona, son of Ali'i nui Keawe'ikekahi'ali'iokamoku [Keawe II], 21st Ali'i 'ai moku of Hawai'i Island, and his wife, Ali'i nui Kalani-Kauleleiaiwi, married Ali'i nui Kamaka'imoku, and had issue.
    • Ali'i nui Keoua Kalanikupuapaikalaninui (by Kamakaimoku), High Chief of Kohala, married (a), Ali'i nui Kalola Pupuka-o-Honokawailani, daughter of Ali'i nui Kekaulike, 23rd Moi of Maui, and his wife, Ali'i nui Kekuiapoiwa I, married (b), Ali'i nui Keku'i'apowa II, daughter of Ali'i Ha'ae, and his wife, Ali'i Kekela'o'kalani, married (c), Ali'i nui Kamakaeheikuli, another daughter of Ali'i Ha'ae, and his wife, Ali'i Kekela'o'kalani, married (d), Ali'i nui Manona, daughter of Ali'i nui Alapa'inuiakauaua, 22nd Ali'i Aimoku of Hawai'i Island and 2nd Ali'i of Kona (see below), and his wife, Ali'i nui Kamaka'imoku, married (e), Ali'i Kalanilehua, daughter of Ali'i Kalahumoku II, Chief of Hana, and his wife, Ali'i Kalanikaumehameha, married (f), Ali'i Kahikikalaokalani, another aughter of Ali'i Kalahumoku II, Chief of Hana, and his wife, Ali'i Kalanikaumehameha, married (g), Akahi-a-Kawalu of Kauai, and had issue. He died 1767.
      • Ali'i nui Keku'iapoiwa Liliha (by Kalola), married Ali'i nui Kiwala'o, Mo'i of Hawai'i Island, 3rd Ali'i of Ka'u and 7th Ali'i-ai-moku of Kohala, and had issue. She died 1815.
      • Ali'i nui Kalokuokamaile (by Kahikikala'okalani), Ali'i of Hana, Kipahulu and Kaupo, married Ali'i nui Kaloiokalani, and had issue.
        • Ali'i nui Kaohelelani, born 177x, married Ali'i Nuhi II, last High Chief of Waimea, and had issue (see Waimea).
      • Ali'i nui Keli'imaika'i (by Keku'i'apowa II), married (a) (his half-sister), Ali'i nui Ki'ilaweau (see further), daughter of Ali'i nui Keoua Kalanikupuapaikalaninui, and his wife, Ali'i nui Manona, married (b), Ali'i Kaliko'okalani, and had issue. He died 1810.
        • Ali'i nui Kaiwi Kuamo'o Kekuaokalani (k) (by Ki'ilawea), he died December 1819 in Kuamo'o.
        • Ali'i George Na'ea (by Kaliko'okalani), born 1797 in Honolulu, he contracted leprosy in 1838, married 1835, Ali'i Fanny Kekelaokalani Young, born 21st July 1806 in Kawaihae, Kohala, died 4th September 1880 in Honolulu, buried in the Royal Mausoleum, and had issue. He died 1852 in Honolulu.
          • Ali'i Emma Kaleleonalani Na'ea [later Emma Rooke after her adoption and then later still, HM Queen Emma of Hawai'i], born 2nd January 1836 in Honolulu, she was adopted by her aunt, Grace Rooke and attended Chiefs' Children's School. Upon the death of young Prince Albert Leiopapa a Kamehameha, Queen Emma took the name "Kaleleokalani" - the flight of the chief, the following year, upon the death of King Kamehameha IV, she changed it to "Kaleleonalani" - the flight of the chiefs (plural); married 19th June 1856 in Kawaiahao Church, HM King Kamehameha IV of Hawai'i, and had issue. She died 25th April 1885 in Honolulu.
        • Ali'i Benjamin Namakehaokalani (by Kaliko'okalani), born 1799, married 8th March 1852, Ali'i nui Esther Kapiolani (later HM Queen Kapiolani II), daughter of Ali'i nui Kuhio Kalaniana'ole, High Chief of Hilo, and his wife, Ali'i nui Kekaulike Kinoiki, and had issue. He died 27th December 1859 in Honolulu.
          • Ali'i Hinau (k), married Ali'i Kamaka'aiau, and had issue.
            • Stella Keomailani, born 1866, married 25th September 1888 in Honolulu, James Dawson Cockett, and had issue. She died 1927.
      • Ali'i nui Kamehameha (by Keku'i'apowa II), later HM King KAMEHAMEHA I of Hawai'i (qv).
      • Ali'i nui Kala'imamahu (by Kamakaeheikuli), married (a), Ali'i Kahikuha'akoi, married (b), Her Excellency Ali'i nui Kalakua Kaheiheimalie, born 1778, died 16th January 1842 in Lahaina, Maui, Governor of Maui 1840/1842, daughter of Ali'i nui Ke'eaumoku Papaiahiahi, and his wife, Ali'i nui Namahana'i'Kaleleokalani, and had issue.
        • Hon. Ali'i nui Kahalai'a Luanu'u (by Kahikuha'akoi), Governor of Kaua'i 1824/1825, married (a), 1825, Ali'i nui Kalanipauahi, born about 1804, died 17th June 1826 in Honolulu, daughter of Ali'i Pauli Ka'oleioku, and his wife, Ali'i Keouawahine, married (sep'd.) (b), Ali'i nui Kuini Liliha, Governor of Oahu 1829/1831, born about 1802, died 24th August 1839, daughter of Hon. Ali'i Ulumaheihei Hoapili, and his wife, Ali'i nui Kalilikauoha, married (c), Hon. Al'i nui Elizabeth Kinau [HRH Princess Ka'ahumanu II], Kuhina Nui of Hawaii 1832/1839, born 1805, died 4th April 1839, daughter of HM King Kamehameha I of Hawai'i, and his wife, Hon. Ali'i nui Kalakua Kaheiheimalie, and had issue. He died 27th April 1826.
          • Prince David Kamehameha (by Elizabeth), born 182x, died young.
          • HH Princess Ruth Keelikolani Keanolani Kanahoahoa Keawenui (by Kalanipauahi), born 17th June 1826 in Honolulu,  Governor of Hawai'i Island [15.1.1855] - [1874], married 1stly 1842, Ali'i William Pitt Leleiohoku, born 31st March 1821 in Kailua, died 21st October 1848 in Honolulu, son of Ali'i William Pitt Kalaimoku, (see Maui) and his wife, Ali'i Kiliwehi, married 2ndly, 1856 (div. 1868), Isaac Young Davis, son of George Hueu Davis, and his wife, Ali'i Kaha'anapilo Papa, and had issue. She died 24th May 1883 in Kailua.
            • Ali'i William Pitt Kinau (William Pitt Leleiohoku), born 21st December 1842, died 9th September 1859 in Kohala.
            • Keolaokalani Keola Paki Bishop (by Isaac), born February 1862, died 29th August 1862.
        • Ali'i nui Miriam Auhea Kekauluohi (by Kalakua Kaheiheimalie), married (div.) 1stly, HM KIng Kamehameha II of Hawai'i, married 2ndly, Hon. Ali'i Charles Kana'ina, Kuhina Nui of Hawai'i 1839/1845, and had issue. She died 7th June 1845 in Honolulu.

      • Ali'i nui Ki'ilaweau (by Manona), married (her half-brother), Ali'i nui Keli'imaika'i, and had issue (see above).
      • Ali'i nui Ha'aheo (by Akahi-a-Kawalu), married 1stly, HRH Prince Kaiko'olani of Hawai'i, married 2ndly, Hon. Ali'i John Adams Kuakini II, Governor of Hawai'i Island 1820/1844. She died sp.
  • Ali'i nui ALAPAINUI-a-KAUAUA [Alapa'inuiakauaua], 2nd Ali'i of Kona -/1751 ( usurper), married (a), Ali'i nui Keakakauhiwa, married 2ndly, Ali'i nui Kamaka'imoku, and had issue.
    • Ali'i nui Keawe'opala (by Keakakauhiwa), ?Moi of Hawai'i Island, married Ali'i Moana'akauhi, High Priestess of Kona, daughter of Ali'i nui Kauhi-a-Haki, and his wife, Ali'i nui 'Iliki-a-Moana, and had issue. He died about 1752.
      • Ali'i nui Kana'inanui, married 1stly (his step-sister), Ali'i nui Hakau, daughter of  Ali'i nui Heulu, and his wife, Ali'i Moana'akauhi, High Priestess of Kona, married 2ndly, Ali'i nui Kalanikukaulala'a, and had issue.

          • His Excellency Ali'i Matai'o Kekuanaoa, born about 1791, Governor of Oahu 1834/1868; married 1stly, 28th November 1825, Ali'i nui Kalanipauahi, born about 1804, died 17th June 1826, daughter of Ali'i Pauli Ka'oleioku (see Hawai'i), and his wife, Ali'i Keouawahine, married 2ndly, Ali'i nui Elizabeth Kinau [Ka'ahumanu II], born about 1805, died 4th April 1839 in Honolulu, daughter of HM King Kamehameha I, and his wife,  the Hon. Ali'i nui Kalakua Kaheiheimalie, and had issue. He died 24th November 1868 in Honolulu.
            • HH Princess Ruth Keelikolani Keanolani Kanahoahoa Keawenui (by Kalanipauahi), born 17th June 1826 in Honolulu, Governor of Hawai'i Island 1855/1874; married 1stly, 1842, Ali'i William Pitt Leleiohoku (see Maui), married 2ndly, 1856 (div. 1868), Isaac Young Davis, and had issue, by both husbands.

            • HH Prince Moses Kekuaiwa (by Elizabeth), born 20th July 1829, died 24th November 1848 in Honolulu.
