Rani Basant Manjari Devi, born 1900, died 1961, daughter
of Raja SHYAM CHANDRA MARDRAJ HARICHANDAN of Nilgiri, she
was very popular and entered politics as the Rajmata of Ranpur and
was the Health Minister of Orissa. There is a TB Hospital in Chandpur
named after her; he had issue. He died before 1945.

MAHAPATRA 1945/1980, born 1928, educated at
Rajkumar College, Raipur; M.L.A. (Orissa), an exceptional pilot, a
great host, Hon. Flight
Lieutenant in the Air Force and was ADC to the First President of
India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. He was also the youngest ruler to sign the
merger agreement with the Indian Union, from Orissa; married Rani
Durgeshnandini Devi (+), daughter of Raja Brajendra Singh of Patiala, and had issue, three sons and
one daughter. He died 1980.
