PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: The Taluka (a Fifth Class State) is an offshoot of the Rajkot State. Harbhamji, the 4th son of Thakur Sahib Mehramanji II of Rajkot, who received an appanage of 5 villages including Pal, situated on the Nyari rivulet, was the founder of the Taluka.
