  • HH Nawab Nazim Mutizum-ul-Mulk Muhsinuddaula Feradun Jah Syed MANSUR ALI KHAN Bahadur Nasirat Jang 1838/1880 (abdicated), born October 1830, last Nawab Nazim of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa, upon his abdication he received the lesser title of Nawab Bahadur and was denied the use of the qualification of His Highness, married Shams-i-Jehan Begum, Gaddinashin Begum of Bengal, Bihar and Orissa, died 1905; two concubines, Malika Zamani and Shah-un nisa, were elevated to the status of wives after investigation by the British Authorities, in England he 'married' a further two wives, Sarah Vennell and Julia Lewis, and had issue, over 100 children, most by informal liaisons. He died 1884.

          • Syed Mohammad Ali Meerza, born 30th June 1946 (#2) in Murshidabad, West Bengal, primarily educated at Nawab Bahadur Instituition Murshidabad (Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary) 1953/1963 completing higher secondary education with science, migrated to Dacca in East Pakistan in January 1965, admitted for HSC / Intermediate in Commerce 1965/1969 and graduated in Commerce from Quaid-eazam College, University of Dacca in 1969 and joined the PIA sales department (Reservation,Ticketing and Tariff Department) on 11th May 1970, transferred to Lahore during July 1970 after completing the basics sales course with outstanding results, standing second in the merit list. Since then has settled in Lahore, presently working as Local Trainer, married 30th September 1971 in Lahore, Pakistan, Syeda Iqbal Fatima Rizvi, and has issue, six children.

  • Ihtisham-ul-Mulk Raisuddaula Amir-ul-Umara Nawab Sir Syed HASSAN ALI KHAN Bahadur Mahabat Jang 1880/1906, born 25th August 1846, received the hereditary title of Nawab Bahadur of Murshidabad by a sanad in 1882, K.C.I.E. [cr.1887], G.C.I.E. [cr.1888], married Nawab Kulsumunnissa Begum Saheba, and had issue. He died 1906.

  • Ihtishamul-Mulk Raisuddaula Amir-ul-Omrah Nawab Asif Quadar Sir Syed WASIF ALI MIRZA Khan Bahadur Mahabat Jang 1906/1959 , born 7 January 1875 , K.C.S.I. [cr.1910]; K.C.V.O. [cr.1912], educated in India, under private tutors in English, Arabic, Persian, and Urdu; and in England, at Sherborne, Rugby, and Trinity College, Oxford. Succeeded father with hereditary titles of Nawab Bahadur of Murshidabad, Amir-ul-Umra, 1906; has eight times been a Member of Bengal Legislative Council; has taken great interest in Municipal matters; was selected to represent Bengal at King's Coronation in London; attended Delhi Coronation Durbar of 1st January 1902 as a guest of Government of Bengal; as premier noble of Bengal had the honour of receiving King-Emperor George V in Calcutta; Patron of the Calcutta Historical Society and Anjuman-e-Musalmanan-e-Bangala; founder President of the Hindu Muslim Unity Association; is reputed for the efficient management of his estates and public charities; is also well known for his English and Urdu Poems. Recreations: an athlete, keen at all kinds of sports; polo, shooting, billiards; married Begum Nadir Jehan and had issue. He died 1959.

    • Syed Wakif Ali Meerza, born 16th February 1923, married 1stly, Dina Lawyer [Begum Zebunnissa], married 2ndly, Margaret Evelyn Van Dort [Begum Miriam], born 18th October 1929, and had issue, one son and two daughters. He died 14th May 2008 in Melbourne, Australia.
