a great lover of peace and
painter in his own right, a naturalist and environmentalist, with more
than 100 papers and articles related
to different aspects of life in Manipur to his credit, Manipur
University
recognised and honoured his contribution by conferring a
Doctorate on 14th May 1988. He died unmarried 29th
October 2005.
