born 12th September 1940, succeeded to the throne on 10th October 1998, married Kumari Adarsh Kumari [Rani Adarsh Kumari of Koti] of District Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, born 27th December 1951, and has issue, 2 children, a daughter and a son.

(daughters of Thakur Tegh Singh of Kunihar), and two wives were from Ratesh State in H.P. (no issue), and had issue. He died 1944.

He died 2nd September 1992.

    • Kaushalya Devi (by Saryu Devi), born 16th June 1937 at Simla, married 22nd May 1964 in Simla, Brigadier (ret'd.) Mehar Ranjan Dutt, Military Cross (M.C.), son of the late Rai Bahadur G. R. Dutt from Tripura State in Eastern India, born 14th December 1919, Commandant of the 6th Batallion, Rajputana Rifles, later commanded the 3rd Batallion of the Sikh Regiment. Later still, he commanded the 15th Batallion of the Dogra Regiment and lastly, he commanded the Prince of Wales Own Regiment, later known as the 1st Batallion of the Dogra Regiment, died sp in Simla in April 2004 of heart failure.
  • Rana DEVESH CHAND 1970/1998, born 25th July 1921, succeeded to the throne on 8th July 1970, married Rajkumari Jayanti Devi, daughter of Maharaj Kumar Karan Singh of Orchha, and had issue, 5 children. He died 10th October 1998 at Chandigarh.
