- Raja TOKH PAL, founder of Bhadu
state, he was originally assigned the jagir of Hatetar, but rebelled
against
his brother and was defeated, with the aid of troops provided by the
Nawab
of Lahore, he captured Basohli. Peace was made between the two
brothers,
with one third of Basohli given to Raja TOKH PAL about 1045/1050.

a Princess of Kashtwar, married 2ndly, a Princess of Chanehni, and had

- Raja MEDINI PAL 1725/1736, born
1717?,
in 1735 he
invaded Chamba, defeated the Raja and annexed the two parganas
of
Jundh and Bhalai, married a sister of the Raja of Guler, and had issue.
He died 1736.

- Raja AJIT PAL 1736/1757, annexed
Bhadu
state with
the help of the Jammu Raja, married and had issue. He died 1757.

- Raja AMRIT PAL 1757/1776, born 1745,
built the Royal
Palace of Basohli, married 1759, a daughter of Raja RANJIT DEV of Jammu,
and had issue. He died 1776 in Banaras.
- Raja VIJAY PAL 1776/1806, born
1763, the state
was invaded and captured by Raja RAJ SINGH of Chamba in 1782, being
restored
only on the payment of a lakh of rupees, married and had issue. He died
1806.
- Raja MAHENDRA PAL 1806/1813,
greatly embellished
the Basohli Palace and added the Rang Mahal and Shish Mahal, married a
daughter of the Raja of Jasrota and had issue. He died 1813 at Amritsar.
- Raja BHUPENDRA PAL 1813/1834,
born c1806, during
his rule the state became tributary to Maharaja RANJIT SINGH, married a
Bhatial Princess, and had issue. He died November 1834 at Amritsar.
- Raja KALYAN PAL 1834/1846, born 17th
December 1834,
in 1836 a sanad conveyed the state as a jagir to Raja HIRA SINGH of
Jammu,
in March 1846, the state was transferred to Maharaja GHULAB SINGH, with
a pension of 3,000Rs being assigned to the Raja, he married 1stly,
1850,
a Princess of Sirmur, died before 1857,
married 2ndly, a daughter of Raja CHHATAR Singh of Mankot,
she continued to live in Basohli Palace on a pension of 1,500Rs from
Jammu,
for many years. He died sp 1857.
