PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY:  Diwan Rai Singh of Baragaon near Jhansi, (a descendant of Bir Singh Deo of Orchha), had 8 sons who were granted Jagirs, including Dhurwai, Bijna, and Tori. Umed Singh, the 8th and youngest son received Banka Pahari. The state originally held five villages, but four were lost during the Marathi invasion. Rulers were .....
