Consume Magazine is a collaboration being driven by the EDA involving community groups and young people covering issues of body image, health, tolerance and responsibility and will be printed in 2011 for every grade 8 student in Brisbane and online for everybody else.
To make sure that we cover specific topics relevant to young people, youth educators, teachers, families and anyone in the community interested in the content of this magazine, please take a couple of minutes from your day to fill in the consume magazine survey at :

Body Image and Eating Disorders Seminar

Education Centre at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Herston, Brisbane.
A one day seminar on teenage eating issues and body image presented by Women’s Health Queensland Wide, Isis the Eating Issues Centre and The Eating Disorders Network.

Consume Youth Magazine Photo Shoot
3-5pm Saturday the 11th of September
Ausdance Qld Studio’s Level 3, Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Art
420 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley.
Come and have some fun at the EDA photo shoot for Consume Youth Magazine, a collaborative publication covering issues of body image, health, tolerance and responsibility. Bring your camera, dress-ups, objects of interest, art and most importantly, your creativity for this photo shoot! You don’t have to be photographed, we can take photo’s of items, bridges, graffiti, streets, consumer products in the Valley, public art, etc… anything that will help the young designers at Liveworm Studio lay out the content. There will also be a professional set with photographers from Live Image.
