Teacher Training
The Modern Jive Teacher Training organised and run by The International Academy of Modern Jive is still the very first of its kind. Established in 1997 in England by Patrice Calleja and Chris Chainey, the Program has now developed and grown and is taught in the UK and Australia. Recognised and endorsed by the United Kingdom Alliance for Professional Teachers of Dance (UKA) in 1997, this international and highly acclaimed Modern Jive Teacher Training Program was also professionally recognised and endorsed by the Australian Dancing Society (ADS) in 2000.
The Modern Jive Teacher Training Program consists of:
- The Modern Jive Teacher Training Courses
- The Modern Jive Foundation Course
- The Associate Preparation Course
- The Licentiate Preparation Course
- The Modern Jive Course Pack
- The Modern Jive Cue Cards
- The Modern Jive Teaching Points Booklet

The training covers all syllabus components setting high teaching standards and encouraging the widespread enjoyment of Modern Jive.
