Responsibilities

  • To write user guides for all internal systems and publish on corporate Intranet. Products used FrameMaker, Frontpage, PageMaker, Photoshop 5.0, CorelDraw, HTML, Dreamweaver, HDK, Word, Acrobat Distiller and Exchange.
  • To design, typeset and output Insurance Premium Notices and other large-volume forms and documents using Compuset/Autograph software which combines the typeset form with tagged data from large databases for output to high volume printers and enveloping machines with the use of OMR marks.
  • To maintain the online help programs for client-server systems using HDK.

Developed a set of 10 user manuals for Telstra’s National Plant Assignment Management System (NPAMS is the online management of the physical in-ground cable for phone services) in five months with minimum assistance from subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

  • To become technically competent in using all aspects of Telstra's National Plant Assignment Management System (NPAMS).
  • To write a set of user reference manuals for cable assigners and design engineers following existing standards and quality controls.
  • To develop Release Notes for NPAMS and to maintain existing set of Intranet-based documentation.
  • To maintain the online help program for Telstra's CANVAS system using HDK.

Developed two complex training courses from system specs with minimum aid from subject-matter experts.

Responsibilities

  • To design and develop business procedures, work instructions and user manuals for the same system.

Established and managed Australia’s authorised Silicon Studio Training Centre for film and TV digital effects and animation.

Established and managed a multimedia and web training centre.

Responsibilities

  • To plan, resource, market and manage the delivery of training courses in the two training centres (4 classrooms).
  • To manage the design and development of curriculum
  • To ensure revenue targets are achieved within set expenditure guidelines.
  • To establish and manage the digital media scholarships program.
  • To fit out two new training premises on separate floors.
  • To hire and manage permanent staff and freelance trainers.
  • To design and produce web- and paper-based marketing literature and to co-ordinate production and placement of local, national and international advertising and mailing..
  • To design and maintain the web site for Silicon Studio Training Centre.
