These small leather bound prayer books contain various prayers to Saint Christopher, patron saint of travellers. The books are plain and unadorned except for a simple cross embossed into the front cover of the book in gold. The books are generally given to religious and clergy, who are travelling for an extended period, as gifts. Each book contains several prayers to Saint Christopher for aid in travel.
Powers:
The book cannot be lost or stolen
from the blessed carrying this book as long as they keep the faith and have
not sinned. If the blessed carrying one of these books has sinned or lost
the faith they can loose the book or have it stolen from them.
Prayers
GUIDANCE: Several prayers in the book beseach Saint Christopher for guidance
in different situations. Once per week one of these prayers may be used for
guidance in any situation (ie. directions on where to go or what to do).
Success requires a faith (5) test and will result in general directions for
each raise the directions become more specific and immediately useful.
REST TO THE WEARY: Other prayers in the book offer comfort and respite to
the weary traveller. On a successful faith (5) check one person recovers
some lost wind.

For each raise beyond five one extra person may recieve the benefit
of the prayer. These prayers are effective once per day.
FOOD TO THE HUNGRY: Travellers that become lost and run out of supplies
may call upon the blesing of Saint Christopher to supply sustenance for the
traveller. These prayers may be uttered only in a time of great need, if
the traveller utterring the prayer has supplies left and is asking for more
negative effects may follow.
These prayers will aid those not of the Catholic faith as long as those people are truly in need of the aid of the prayer.
