Kay's Square Dance Clubs
HISTORY
Uniting Squares Square Dance Club in Brisbane, Queensland Australia was established in 1986 and has been operating continuously ever since. The initial callers were Kay Walker and Brian Horsey, Kay has been the sole caller for the last thirteen years.
Kay's Plus. In December 2007 Kay held a Sunday afternoon Plus Dance at Oxley, in Brisbane. In February 2008 Kay commenced a regular dance and in August 2008 the dancers selected a name for the new club, Kay's Plus.
GOALS
Uniting Squares captures the real spirit of Square Dancing by offering dancers loads of fun and at the same time there is an opportunity for dancers wanting a challenge.

Kay's Plus offers dancing for the experienced Non-Standard Plus square dancer. A lot of serious fun.
KAY'S CLUBS
UNITING SQUARES holds regular combined Mainstream and Plus dances at 7:30 pm on the first, third and fifth (1st, 3rd and 5th) Wednesday of February through to December at the Anglican Church hall, 1036 Moggill Road, Kenmore, Brisbane

KAY'S PLUS meets at 3:00 pm on the first and third (1st and 3rd) Sunday of February through to November at the Oxley Girl Guide Hut, 32 Ellen St, Oxley. When you dance at Kay's Plus you understand why the "Plus" in the logo is a mirror image. There is not too much "normal" dancing.

A LEARNING and REFRESHER PLUS programme is held at 1:00 pm on the first and third (1st and 3rd) Sunday  of February through to November at the Oxley Girl Guide Hut, 32 Ellen St, Oxley
OTHER DANCES
Kay calls and teaches on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th (and 5th) Tuesdays at 10:00 am. for the Fifty Plus Centre in the Brisbane City Hall

Kay is the caller for SALAD BOWL SQUARES MS and PLUS club at Wellington Point on Friday nights.

The conducting fun party nights for non square dancers is a specialty of Kay's.
