Class attendees are required to be current members of the University of the Third Age Brisbane Inc. and membership entitles you to go to any of the Brisbane U3A classes.
ART CLASS
Art Workshop. Members experiment with new techniques using water colours, acrylic & oils. Some visiting tutors but this is NOT a teaching class. We are here to encourage each other.
Mondays: 10am - 12 noon
GUITAR LESSONS Basic guitar for beginners, own guitar essential. Venue: Phone tutor for details. Cost for photocopying.
Monday: 9.30 - 11am
MAH JONG Venue: Commuinity Room, Wynnum Library. Nil cost.
Monday: 12.45 - 3.45pm
FELDENKRAIS Awareness through Movement
Learn in a creative and interestingly different way to help yourself.
Tuesday: 9.15 - 11.30 am
CREATIVE WRITING
If you like to write short stories or poetry join our lively and up-beat writers group. We give helpful critiques on each other's work. We also have fun with literature, discussing books and authors.
Venue: Wynnum Library History Room, Cost $1

MAH JONG
Venue: Community Room, Wynnum Library. Cost: nil.
Wednesday: 1pm - 4pm
ANYTHING GOES
Active discussion group - group chooses topics.

Complete beginners course covering various scripts. Vacancies for ne/continuing students.

Listen to and appreciate all kinds of jazz.

ITALIAN LANGUAGE

Tutors are to be contacted before attending a class. Cost of joining U3A Brisbane Inc is $35.00 per annum single, $50.00 per annum per couple.
U3A – University of the Third Age – is an organisation dedicated to fun and learning for the older generation. Classes are not structured as in a school situation. There are no examinations at the end of a course. People learn at their own pace. Or simply join a class for fun, keeping the mind active, and meeting people.
There are classes purely for fun, as in SCRABBLE and MAH JONG.
