Peach Liqueur


Ingredients

750 g peaches, peeled and sliced
1½ cups sugar
4 strips lemon peel
3 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
2 cups bourbon

 

Method

In a large microwave-safe glass bowl, thoroughly combine all the ingredients. Heat for 15 minutes on Medium, or until the sugar has dissolved. Set the power on Warm and heat for 30 minutes. Cover and allow to stand for 3 - 4 days. Strain and bottle.
