Fruit Smoothie


Ingredients

¾ cup low-fat or skim milk
½ cup yoghurt
1 chopped banana
1 tsp honey
1 tblsp wheatgerm
2 ice cubes
 
 

Method

Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.

Variations:
1. Instead of the banana, use the flesh of a mango, peach or 4 apricots; alternatively, rockmelon, pawpaw or strawberries.
2. Omit the wheatgerm.
3. Add a raw egg.
