Date and Walnut Fudge


Ingredients

250 g sweet biscuits, crushed
50 g walnuts, chopped
100 g dates, chopped
2 tsp cocoa powder
2 tsp instant coffee
175 g dark chocolate, broken into small pieces
400 g can condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
 
 

Method

Grease and line a 20 cm square dish. Mix the crushed biscuits, walnuts and dates in a bowl. Place the remaining ingredients in a separate microwave-safe glass bowl and cook on Medium for 2 -3 minutes. Stir well.

Pour the melted mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well. Press into the greased and lined square dish. Smooth the top and chill until set. Cut into squares.
