Coffee Liqueur


Ingredients

1½ cups hot water
2 cups sugar
½ cup freeze-dried instant coffee
2 cups vodka
1 vanilla bean

 

Method

In a large glass microwave-safe bowl, heat the water for 5 minutes, or until boiling. Add the sugar and coffee and stir until dissolved. Add the remaining ingredients and heat on Medium for 8 minutes. Stir, set the power on Warm, and heat for 30 minutes. Cover and allow to stand for 3 - 4 days. Strain and bottle.
