Different enzymes in Natuzymes and their function in diets:

• Cellusase: Breaks fibres to glucose
• Xylanase: Breaks glucose to galacturonic acid, hydrolyses xylan into xylose
• B-Glucanase: Breaks carbohydrates (Glucans)
• A-Amylase: Breaks starch to glucose and maltose
• Protease: Breaks proteins to peptides and amino acids
• Pectinase: Breaks polysaccharides (soy beans)
• Phytase activity: Releases phosphorus stored in phytates. The release of phosphorus causes bound nutrients - Ca, Mg, Zn, and Fe - to lose their binding site on the phytate (salts of phytic acids which are nutritional) - and these major minerals and trace elements can be absorbed by the animal

Natuzyme also contains hemicellulase, amyloglycosidase and pentosanase activities.
