Negotiate an in-house workshop, facilitated by Brian Donaldson and
Bob Dick, and designed to meet your organisation's specific needs
What can you do when your organisation is facing a crisis? You've already shored up revenue and sliced your costs, wherever possible.
There are strategies and approaches that allow you to deal more effectively with the crisis and move beyond just the financial protection of the business. You can do this and build employee goodwill and commitment at the same time. The same strategies can also help you make the most of sudden opportunities as they cross your radar.
There are ways of learning from (and even benefiting from) a crisis. You can become better prepared for the next one. At the same time you can increase performance and both staff and customer satisfaction.
Who is it for?
The workshop is designed to benefit:
- managers, senior managers and community leaders who wish to deal well with current or threatening crises and opportunities
- divisional heads and senior change leaders who want to mobilise staff, 'make things happen' and lift their organisations (and their spirits) during times like these
- consultants and change agents who work with organisations and communities
Where?
You can arrange your own venue. Or we can arrange the venue at "Riverglenn", 70 Kate Street, Indooroopilly. If at Riverglenn, accommodation is available on site for non-local participants.

What?
We will design a workshop to meet your needs and those of the participants. Topics are likely to include:
being quickfooted when a crisis or opportunity seems likelyresponding effectively when a crisis hits or an opportunity offers
learning from a crisis to prepare better for future events
anticipating possible future crises and opportunities
making allies of staff, suppliers and customers in doing so.
How?
Participants will help to determine the process and content of the workshop. Subject to this negotiation they can anticipate an involving process which provides a mix of theory, discussion and practice. There will be small group work to help participants consolidate the skills, techniques and concepts.
There will be appropriate handouts.
Facilitators?
The workshop facilitators are Brian Donaldson and Bob Dick, Brisbane-based facilitators and consultants who between them bring over half a century of relevant experience.
